● Visitor Interaction (Y/n) ●

You almost ran right into Sonnet, Condor's late warning proving useless as it was swallowed by the lioness's snarl. "What where you're going, idiot." She spat, her ears pressing flat against her ears. It wasn't until your gaze met hers, when recognition sparked in her yellow glare. "You don't belong here. What are you doing prancing around here? Trying to get murdered?" Before you could reply, Condor stepped to your side almost as if he was readying himself to shield you from any retaliation the lioness was bent on giving. "They're just passing through, Sonnet. King's blessing," the sub-male explained. The lioness huffed, seemingly unsatisfied. "How gracious," she replied her eyes sliding to yours. "But know you're not welcomed here. If you go putting your nose where it doesn't belong you might lose it." "Where did you come from? Don't you have a hunting trip soon?" Condor questioned, causing Sonnet's ears to lie flat again, her tail lashing. "That's for me to know and you to mind your own business. I'm not anywhere I shouldn't be, and exactly where I need to be." She

Newborn : Sonnet is the fifth cub born to Vesper. She was birthed in the morning during the beginning of the wet season. {Vesper was happy to find another female had been born. It seemed she took more after him than her mother, but he couldn't get a good measure on her temperament. Only time would tell, but he was sure she would be a good fit for the pride.}

Young Cub: Sonnet loves adding to her stash she had been building for months now. All the treasures she found outside of Mother's Cavern is tucked away underneath a boulder beside her home. She dug out the hole when she snuck out for the first time and found an orange fluffy feather. She had to hide it from the other cubs so she made a secret burrow nearby, but still far away enough from her nosy siblings. Sonnet loved to go on the hunt for treasure as much as she loved playing with her stash. Her mother was always napping and she was quite enough to slip away from the other lionesses to explore outside. She almost got caught a few times, Naveah was always butting her nose where it doesn't belong. She was the most annoying cub in Mother's Cavern. Every time she leaves for training, Sonnet hopes she gets eaten or trampled, but she has come back in one piece every single time.

Cub: Sonnet didn't really enjoy training, besides the climbing and stalking lessons. But she did well nonetheless, and her father was pleased. She was the best at being quiet, proving herself as the best stalker of all the cubs. But she didn't like that all the training took up a lot of her looting time. Sonnet loved scavenging in the Pride's hoard and snagging things they wouldn't miss for herself. Sometimes she'd sneak an extra snack, something shiny for her treasure pit, or a fun toy for later. What she hated was how nosy her siblings were, more so now that they were forced to spend time together. She had mixed feelings about moving into Pride Cavern, she'd be around Naveah again, but surly it had to be less crowded as Mother's Den right now. And maybe she would have more time to herself. Paws crossed.

Adolescent: Sonnet found her place as she learned the importance of working as a team to bring down the biggest or the swiftest of animals, and it was as a stalker. There was something about creeping closer to an animal that had no idea you were right in front of their face. Sonnet loved the feeling of not being seen until she wanted to be and she had a knack for it too. That's why she was usually the one assigned to stalk their prey. Sonnet looked forward to being assigned to a team and be given her title as a true hunter.

Adult: {2 years, 11 months} - Sonnet kept her daughter tucked into her side, turning away anyone who visited her nest wanting a peek at her cub. It wasn't until Vesper approached her, watching her expectantly, did she give in. Sonnet didn't have a good feeling about this season, but she didn't have a choice. Her cub was more his than hers. Vesper smelled their daughter and when he looked up at her, she could tell he only had bad news.

"I'm taking her, Sonnet."

Sonnet's ears immediately went flat against her head, her tail lashing, but she didn't say a word or make a move when he leaned down and took her daughter. Such was Pride Law, but she still hated it. She wished she could have hid her away from everyone, especially her King. Sonnet curled up into a tight ball, trying to fight the anger and sense of violation that crawled underneath her pelt.

5 years old - Sonnet had two cubs as quietly as she could, she managed to not alert anyone when they were born. She even managed to keep their mewling down with attentive licks. It was only a matter a time before they were discovered by the Lead Mother and reported to her King, but Sonnet wanted as many moments as possible with her cubs to herself. She knew they weren't staying. The King had gotten rid of every cub that had been born after his second 'precious' soothsayer. Her cubs would be no different...

The ever so diligent Queen found her cubs after Regina had given birth and Sonnet was left resentful. Did she have to attract so much attention? Now her cubs were accounted for and would be taken from her all that much soon. And they were, her King visited her nest first and left with her cubs just as she knew he would. Sonnet didn't stick around to see if the other mother's that gave birth kept their cubs. She made her way out of Mother's Den and to her hiding place where she hoarded all her favorite things. She'd spend the day there, tucked away from everyone else.
