BioNewborn : Hyacinth is the sixth cub born to Vesper. She was birthed in the morning during the middle of the wet season.
{The sight of three healthy female cubs brought a smile to Vesper's face. Carmine was the first of his lionesses to gift him with three cubs. He was drawn to Hyacinth first, her deep purple pelt standing out from her sisters. He went in for a sniff when the little cub made a shrill sound and jumped at his face with her tiny paws. Needle like claws pierced his face and he instinctually shook her off. Vesper chuckled as he watched her find the warmth of her mother's belly again, looking for a teat. He glanced at Carmine, pleased. "Born to be a huntress, no doubt."
Young Cub : Hyacinth hates when her mother pulls her into her chest and grooms, and grooms, and grooms! She says that the most important thing in this world is looking your best. The worst is being caught otherwise. Hyacinth disagrees. She didn't care about looking her best. She didn't care about being caught, "ungroomed". The worst thing in the world were her mother's baths. That and Fawn's crying. She never did anything else. Sometimes she would just look at her, and she would burst into tears. She was worst than the new mewling cubs. Hyacinth didn't care about the arguments, the yelling or the shouting, but she couldn't stand crying. She didn't know why cubs did it and she was thankful her sisters never did. Bambi was the only one ever to come close, angry tears welling in her eyes, but one word from Hyacinth and she dried them right up. None of them were criers and that would
always be the case. No exceptions.
Cub: Hyacinth couldn't wait to get into Pride Cavern. She wanted to start learning and doing what all the older lionesses were busy with. She didn't care much for training, other than it leading her to what she really wanted, to sink her teeth into prey and feel their last breath escape. When Hyacinth actually tried, she excelled. Just like she will at hunting.
Adolescent: Hyacinth loved hunting. She was eager to be apart the actual hunt, but it was thrilling to shadow the lioness. Once she had mastered the art of silence, Hyacinth was allowed to participate and do what she was born to do. After her first kill, Hyacinth knew this was what she wanted to do every day for the rest of her life. Soon she would graduate, earning the title hunter and be assigned to a party. She would no longer be the apprentice, but a hunter in her own right, selected specifically for her skill. She couldn't wait.
Adult:
{5 years old} - Hyacinth gave birth to two cubs this season, another little Cassis female and a prune male. She didn't expect her King to reject them both, but he eventually did after meeting with each one. He seemed to consider their daughter's future more than their son, but ultimately neither made the cut. He casually told her that he was taking them and she simply nodded. It was surprising, but only for a moment. If he didn't allow them to stay, then they didn't have what it took to thrive in the pride. That, Hyacinth knew for a fact.
{6 years, 6 months old} - Lost sister and littermate, Bambi.

~● Hyacinth glares at you as you approach, but she does not swat you as you groom her head. Instead, she perches elegantly, making it clear that you can only do this because she is allowing it.
