Biography
Khione (pronounced "KIE-oh-nee") is the Greek goddess of snow, daughter of Boreas, god of the North Wind and Winter, and sister of Zethes and Calais

Her name, founded by that of the snowy planes where she’d been brought from, was a choice not only of her arrival in the Westline territories Raum’ Pride, but also the hope to appease the gods of winter. They’d had a particularly difficult cold season, many succumbing to the unseen frigid temperatures and sudden famine, her arrival had been a curse and a blessing to Salcia. Seeing the cub at first by one of their scouts, she had wanted to kill it swiftly, a mercy kill for both parties, though seeing her unique build, protruding fangs and bobbed tail, Salcia had quickly deicided against her original demand and brought the cub in, providing her with shelter and whatever scraps they could share as food. By all odds, the winter seemed to calm when they’d brought the starving cub in, the winds dying out, the grass peaking through melting snow, small prey slowly but surely returning to their hunting grounds, it left no doubt in any of the lioness’ minds; this cub was blessed by the gods.
