Imoinda, the Artist

If I was easy to kill, you would've done it already.
The walls of the Agora are marked with extravagant swirls of paint, which the Acropolis' natives use as a guide. A local lion knows which swirls of colour to follow when they need the Sangoma; the Auxiliaries; the monarch. At the heart of this intricate system is Imoinda. This clever lioness has transformed her love of art into a navigation system, using her impressive command of colour to guide her pridemates through the kingdom. She can regularly be found adding to the Agora's vast network of paintings, using squid ink and crushed berries to create extravagant dyes. Imoinda loves her art.

When she's not painting, Imoinda is described by others as a tranquil, reflective lioness. She enjoys teaching, giving the busy mothers in the Sanctuary a moment of peace from their boisterous cubs.

Sometimes, Imoinda can be spotted slipping out of the Agora, into the lush mangrove forests that ring the territory. It is here, in secret, that she meets up with Lady Larkspur. Larkspur is a sheltered young royal with a thirst for adventure; Imoinda finds her enthusiasm endearing, and quickly became enamoured with her. When the Acropolis' nobles sweep through the Agora, they are surprised to find Larkspur glancing shyly over at Imoinda - and even more surprised when Imoinda smiles knowingly back.
