I…wasn’t sorted into a cave…The Queens must think I’m not good enough to be a regular resident, or become skilled enough to join another Pride; I’m still in the nursery… There’s actually a few other cubs who always stay in the nursery, so at least I’m not the only one I guess. Still; they seem so much older, and they’re so smart. Why haven’t we been sorted yet, and when will we? Things have been going…ok since Rain and Dusk hit their adolescence. They’re usually too busy doing Pride things to talk to me, but I get it; Peach, the Queen watching over us has mostly been corralling our group through me. I don’t mind…it’s nice to be relied on. She says it’s because they listen to me better, and that would make sense if most of the cubs in my group weren’t already my age or older. What could possibly sound better coming from me that Peach herself can’t say? I don’t know what Peach fell on tail first, but what’s with her lately? …Mother told me why everything’s been so weird lately…why didn’t Sequoia tell me?
