Biography
Honestly? I’m glad Sapphic took me in, no offense to Da—er, Mane Dawnfather. My birthpride was nice, like I didn’t feel unsafe or anything, but Mane Dawnfather has a BIG pride, and between all the huntresses who lived there and the travelers spending a day or two in the territory, and all of my stupid littermates running around, things were kinda loud. Now that I’m old enough to go on hunts, I’ve noticed the huntresses aren’t as bad or scary as us cubs (or Burgundy) made them out to be. Hunting has also kind of…brought me and Girl Of Pride Bjørg’s Girl closer? It’s weird because yeah she’s pretty, but if high and mighty was flesh and bone, she’d be it. At first I thought that’s all it was, but she ends up somehow being an even better teacher than the huntresses!? And like… she can be sooo fun. What is it about hunting, or teaching even, that makes her feel like she can be herself? And why doesn’t she see that in the Pride?
I was hunting alone, so that was probably the main factor, but I found a lil frien to hunt with; it’s strange though—after our nightly hunts, the little creature swoops down to rest…somewhere on me; typically my head, sometimes he’ll cling to my fur or rest on my back though. Wouldn’t the other lionesses scare the little thing away?
