I’m not sure I love the idea of leaving my birthpride, but I’ll try my best to make a huntress worthy of my own party—just in case. I don’t…I don’t care about being the best—I probably won’t be—but the skills can’t hurt wherever I end up.
I think my favorite thing Sequoia had us do so far is stalking; I’m best at climbing, but it’s so fun to sneak up and scare the other cubs!
My first hunt was with hyenas; it was kinda cool actually, a few if their huntresses even taught me a few of their own tips! I wonder if my chosen pride will be as open to interspecies hunting as Sequoia is? Maybe I could ask Dappleshine’s Girl if she wants to be prideless together—just go around learning from and teaching other species y’know; Idk I don’t wanna bug her though…
Sequoia brought a new girl into the pride; she’s young, just gained adolescence—maybe Rainbowcatcher’s Girl will have someone closer to her age to talk to?
I’ve…had my final hunt….everything feels kinda surreal now; I know I have some moons before I’m expected to find my own Pride, but still; I’ve earned my name now—achieved the only sure thing I’ve known I wanted since I was a cub.
