I will love this girl for all of her life <3
She is one of my pride and joys

Though she's not part of the "gleam trio" she acts like it. They don't mind of course, any Lion can hang out with them. But what they hate is her bragging. She's constantly bragging about being better than them since she's older (only by a month), more special (that's not determined yet), and how she is the prettiest of them.
Peridot usually lies around the den, cleaning her fur or doing anything to get out of helping in the pride. She thinks she should be the next queen and every night "talks" to the spirits. When she first told DuskSong about this, she was concerned and contacted the spirits immediately. The spirits told her that they had never talked to Peridot and never would as she was not fit to speak to them, let alone be a leader.
DuskSong scolded Peridot and gave her cleaning duties for a week, but to this day Peridot will still bring it up, believing every word she says. No one else does, but they've stopped arguing with her.

When Peridot was older, she did befriend an jaguar, an odd friend but one she loved. His name was Stephan. The pride wasn't too sure of him sticking around but when he brought up the fact that they had two jaglions with them they all quieted a bit. Stephan and seemed to have no interest in cubs so that was also reassuring. While they did have Kevin and Minxy with them, the two species trying to have cubs could end badly. Peridot also found out in her early days that she was infertile, unable to have cubs. She wanted them though, with her love or not, so she prayed to the stars. DuskSong allowed her to become a broodmother since he loved cubs so much. Maybe one day the stars and spirits would take pity on her and give her what she wanted most.
