Awiti

Awiti has caused most of her own misfortunes throughout life. As a young cub, she wandered away from her teacher and subsequently became forever lost. As an adolescent, she would get distracted while hunting and end up in enemy territory, which never ended well for her- especially not during the peak of the famine. As a result, she has received her fair share of battering. However, she believes this has given her the experience she needs to live a long life. So, when she came across Hakizimana in the savannah, she didn't think twice about accepting his offer into his pride (well, honestly, she rarely thinks twice about anything, but that is besides the point).

Awiti is not embarrassed by receiving scars or injuries- in fact, they make her strive to do better. Her most significant is a swipe on her leg, which she acquired from a poacher, who she then brutalized. Besides that, she is constantly receiving minor bruises and injuries from just about anything one could be injured by. What was that? Clumsy? No, she is not clumsy!
