i am:
- a canadian high school student (yeehaw) and lioden is one of my current obsessions.
- not a hardcore breeder simply because i am not paid enough to care about dirty/clean bloodlines lol
- buuuut because mama needs money in her pocket, i do tend to breed clean solely for the purpose of sales.
- a lover of stats, idk why but the big numbers are just a dopamine kick
- a fan of piebalds of pretty much any kind, male regular primals, overgrown tongues, melanistic lions, and smiluses :)
some fun facts about me outside of lioden:
- i'm a rancher (i repeat my earlier yeehaw). i break horses
- i like doing puzzles, though i'm not very good at them :')
- i write poetry and i've been playing the piano for ten years
- i am a diagnosed sociopath (aspd) with bpd
- i love collecting bones, specifically antlers and other bones from deer!
PRIDE INFO
family relations are slightly different in the ciervo pride: broodmothers are not just the cubs' protectors, but in many cases are also adoptive parents to those they are protecting. if a cub does not have their biological mother in the pride, the broodmother protecting them takes the cub under their wing and raises them as their own. the cubs are aware the broodmothers aren't their real parents, but they don't know any different, so they don't care much. the pride king is called "uncle ___" by any cubs not his own by blood, as he also takes on a fatherly role in the lives of all the cubs in the pride, whether he fathered them or not.
deer are worshipped as gods by the pride. they are sacred and deeply respected by all of the lions (more info on the belief system in the doc!)
in the ciervo pride, mutated lions are seen as blessed and are often (though not always) in higher ranking positions.
