As you roam in the unfamiliar territory, you get the feeling something or someone is watching you. You brush the feeling off and keep roaming around when you hear rustling behind you. You jump and spin around, frantically looking for the source of noise when you spot a small bush, it's not large enough to hide a fully grown lion so you relax a bit and move closer to investigate. Upon getting a closer look you notice a pair of almost glowing blue and pink eyes staring at you. You tilt your head slightly then jump up and backwards when the thing jumps out of the bush at you. You land on your back instead of your feet and lay there for a few seconds till you hear laughing, you rollover, stand up and spot a small cub on their back with their paws on their tummy laughing, having found much enjoyment in scaring you. Once you get a closer look you notice it's not a normal cub, but a Tigon cub. They have a black-Ish blue coat and only seem to have stripes on their legs and tail. Your thoughts get cut short when you feel a small pebble hit your forehead and hear the cub speak.

"You couldn't seem to hear me, so I threw a pebble at you."

You stare at the cub who's now sitting down and staring back at you with their head tilted to the side, with the most innocent looking smile on their face, like they didn't just scare you half to death a few minutes ago.

"I had asked if you were new around here, and sorry for scaring you, it's sort of become habit for me."

You tell the little one that it's alright since no harm was done and answer her question saying that you were new to the area, before you can get another word out however, she starts talking again and bouncing up and down.

"So, you are new! I knew it! Where are you from? How did you get here? Are you lost? Do you have a pride? What's your pride like?"

The cub starts rambling and asking questions. You start to feel a little overwhelmed and before you can say anything you hear a new voice.

"Lerah! Leave that poor lion alone before you scare them off."

The cub immediately quiets down and runs over to the source of the new voice. You spot the lion and see it's a young light brown male with a black mane and a piebald mutation. He walks up with the cub who you assume is named Lerah.

"Hello, terribly sorry about her, she tends to wander from the pride and likes scaring the newcomers. My names Koah, and this little rascal is Lerah. I happened to hear a small bit of your one-sided conversation, if you have a pride and you're just passing through we'd be happy to show you around if you have the time."

You think for a bit on what you'll do.

(What will do you? A. Let the young male and little Tigon cub show you around. Or B. Tell them you don't have time and return to your territory.)

Scenario A:
You tell them you have quite a bit of time before you have to return to your territory and pride and would love to see the territory and pride they live in. Koah says to follow them, and Lerah bounces up and down the path.

Proceed to Cave 1.


Scenario B:
You tell them that even though you'd love a tour you unfortunately don't have the time and must get back to your pride. Koah says that it's alright and that he'll lead you back to the border, Lerah seems upset, but she says that she understands since you are a pride leader after all. You follow Koah to the border, Lerah tags along and strikes a small conversation with you along the way. You reach the border and the three of you say your goodbyes and you begin your journey home. Who knows, perhaps you'll return another time and accept their invitation for a tour of their pride.
