Adaran's Den

As you approach the night seems to be still. Rushing water flows through the nearby river as grasses sway, both short and tall. River reeds whistle as you brush over them. A relaxing calmness that can only pull you in, as if inviting you. "Venture further," it would say. If it spoke to you in riddles, it'd probably challenge you now.

Through the whispering voices and distant animal cries, you are stopped once you reach the riverside. Two lions, one lying on his side while the other stumbles over himself whilst trying to catch fish within the water, lift their gazes towards your arrival. Gruffly shifting over himself, the elder of the two stands and leaps over the water soon followed.

"Welcome, stranger. Interested in fishing with this idiot? Or are you here for business - as others have been?" asked the eldest, snorting toward you. Quickly slapped by the smaller lion.

"Ignore that angry hyena-sniffer. Farrin isn't the best with newbies." Farrin hissed, but the young lion merely smiled at you. "I'm Pandilla. This, where we stand, is all part of the Unali Stream. Our pride lives not too far from right here! Come on, come on! We'll introduce you!"
