Tevinter's Den

It's quiet here. Bristling winds blow through reeds and water lilies that dip beneath the water side's surface. Grasshoppers play their strums as the nearby herbs sing along, while water trickled over the surface of rocks. Against the mist, you can see four figures resting at the waterside. As you approach, you can see two closest to you with the smaller two on the other side of the stream.

Listening to your steps, those closer to you lifted their heads to watch you tentatively. However, they were quickly stopped as the brightest colored of the four leaped over the water and approached first. "Hello, stranger!" The young lion offers a cheerful smile.

"Sky! Get back here," hissed the mud-colored Smilus, whose eyes never left your movements. The second cub trotted closer as well, ignoring the angry stare of the older male.

"Welcome to the Walkers Narrow! I'm Pepe. This is Sky." Pepe shakes his willow-colored fur adjacent to his piebald pattern. Both the cubs looked as though they could've been siblings. "The angry one back there is Samuel, and the half-eyed one with rusty-saffron fur is Astral. He's our future king!"

"Pepe!" It's clear how close these lions are to one other, like a family in a way. Samuel brought back the cubs as Astral took his strides forward. Not speaking a word since your arrival, he walks around you. Sniffing your coat and gazing down at your mud-covered paws from the path you took. After another moment, his scowl turns into a slow smile.

"Welcome. Come with us. We'll show you around and introduce you to the others."
