Roles

𝓚𝓲𝓷𝓰/𝓠𝓾𝓮𝓮𝓷:
This is the pair who controls the pride, one controls the pure, the other controls the dark.
They are interlinked.
Bolded cursive with their soulmate symbol.
They are highly respected and honored.


𝓟𝓪𝓻𝓽𝔂 𝓵𝓮𝓪𝓭𝓮𝓻𝓼:
They are the most skillful huntresses.
These lionesses are normally the best hunters of the pride.
There are only two-party leaders, one for the pure, and one for the dark.
They may only have one apprentice in their lifetime.
They eat at the same time as the regular lionesses.
They will be bolded cursive.

𝓒𝓪𝓻𝓮𝓽𝓪𝓴𝓮𝓻𝓼:
These are lionesses who as apprentices are apprenticed under the wing of brood mothers.
Once they are two years old, they will continue staying in the nursery to help cubs and future mothers.
They may only ever take one apprentice in their life.
They eat at the same time as regular lionesses.
They will be bolded cursive.

𝓛𝓲𝓸𝓷𝓮𝓼𝓼𝓮𝓼:
Lionesses are sorted into their dens based off their personalities and skills once adults.
They are normally the prides hunters.
They make take one or two apprentices at a time.
They eat third, after the cubs, elders, and apprentices.

𝓐𝓹𝓹𝓻𝓮𝓷𝓽𝓲𝓬𝓮𝓼:
They are the lionesses in training.
These lionesses are mostly in training to become hunters.
They still stay in the nursery until they are adults.
Once they are adults they are sorted based off their personality.
Some apprentices are brood-mother apprentices meaning they will stay in the nursery once they become adults. They will be bolded italicized.
Some apprentices are the party-leader apprentices they are supposed to become the best hunters. They will be bolded italicized.
They eat after the elders and cubs.

𝓒𝓾𝓫𝓼:
Once they are born, they are moved along with their mothers into the nursery.
After one year of age their mothers move back to their sorted den, and they stay in the nursery until they are 2 years.
Once they are adults they are sorted into their own dens.
They eat first with the elders.

𝓔𝓵𝓭𝓮𝓻𝓼:
The elders are honored as they had used to be a part of the pride.
They had served the kingdom very well.
They are highly respected throughout the whole kingdom.
They always eat first along with the cubs.

Pride Lore

Not that long ago two identical cubs were born, one a lion the other a lioness. Their names were Yang and Yin, the two were inseparable. Yang was grumpy, stubborn, and oddly aggressive while Yin was kind-hearted, peaceful, and caring. At the age of one year Yang was kicked out of the pride in order for him to find his own, Yin didn't want to be separated from her brother, so she went with him. Yang and Yin went on traveling, learning how to hunt and fight as well, and they gathered more lions and lionesses, for example a lioness a month younger named Yvaine joined them. Other than his sister Yang was only very comfortable with Yvaine and always seemed to admire her. By time they were two years Yang and Yin got into a fight with a few hyenas, ending with Yin dying. Yvaine was there to comfort him and be there with him. The pride got really large over time and Yang and Yvaine had an idea. Divide the pride between the sweethearts, kind-hearted, and silly lions and the protective, aggressive lions. Yvaine ruled the pure and Yang ruled the dark. When cubs are born, they and their mothers are moved into the nursery cave after a year the moms move back into their labeled den and their cubs stay until they are adults, then they will be placed into a den.
