Ridgespine Asylum is based partially off of Victorian and way-back-when "Lunatic Asylums" some of which used inhumane tactics to "treat" patients with mental illnesses.
None of those inhumane tactics will be described, BUT if the idea or things related could potentially trigger you, I suggest you not read too deeply.

Despite what some may see as inhumane treatment tactics, I assure you that the steps taken to ensure the containment and restraint of our patients is as necessary as exploring the illnesses that our patients face.
