As this is LioDen, I suggested on the meeting that we should have some sort of activity related to lion conservation. I could add other suggestions below, but I was thinking.. - Day or week where proceeds from GB go to lion conservation (if possible, unless all are needed to go to servers) - Buying a certain item, proceeds go to lion conservation (SB or GB, etc). Item shows you supported the effort - LioDen has its own lion mascot from donating to conservation efforts (zoos, wildlife services, etc?) - Lion conservation-related section added to news posts (WitchWolf) Any other ideas? I'll add them to the list! |

I can se both things working nicely, especially in tandem. Item would be a way to donate even more than the regular donations that would come from GB proceeds. However, either the item should be coded so that it's not sellable in any way, ie, it is immediatelly attached to the person that bought it and no one else. Having a section in the newsposts about latest conservation problems and efforts might also be nice? General informations, petitions to various governments regarding illegal lion parts trades, updates on conservation status of various subspecies... etc, etc  0 players like this post! Like? |

Ooh I like that idea, some kind of lion newspaper ;p I'm sure the community itself really could come up with something like that for its own members. We could start that up together, hahaha! Perhaps LioDen could adopt its own lion mascot? (or more than one) since you can do that from zoos and stuff, right? 0 players like this post! Like? |

Perhaps we could have a pool that Lioden users could donate to? Then at the end of the month it's given to a conservation effort of the user/site's choice? Kinda like the monthly thing we have going on now. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Would it be possible to have a Lioden Plushie made (created in the image of said Mascot or a Mascot the site could vote on)? The site could hold a raffle every now and again (so there'd have to be more Plushies made), and whoever wins, gets to buy the plushie? Money paid goes to, as you mentioned, to lion conservations? Wow, Robert. Creative idea... Raffles tend to get lots of profit. x3 Maybe it could be something like, "Buy any amount of GB between [this date] and [this date], and you'll be entered in the plushie raffle!" Edit: Plushies are fun xD That could work, it'd encourage people to buy GB during that certain month. :3 I wonder if LioDen would ever have enough resources to do something like this, though.. 0 players like this post! The only issue with plushies is affording the cost to make them. I wouldn't recommend it off the bat as the fund-raising thing cause the GB spent from entering the raffle would have to cover the cost to make it and to ship it most likely, and then what little is left would go to the conservation effort. 0 players like this post! Ya'know how alpha testers have that cool little icon on their profile telling everyone how ancient and powerful they are? Why not reward those who donate to a conservation money pool with a little badge for their profile too? Not expensive for Lioden and would take just a little work to code it and do the little art?
