Ok so here is a few problems I have run across on the board, and I think it would make a great game changer. This will be a lot so bare with me. A few people in the chat board and I have discussed these issues and believe there should be changes made somewhere. :/

Lack of Lion Sales:

One thing we noticed, and Ive heard a lot of complaints about, is the lack of sales in lionesses and even sub males. Even people with high stat or special marked lionesses are having to chase them off from their pride to try and create room. The fact is, that the trade center is completely disorganized. People are usually looking for one lioness, and they have to shove through hundreds of others, pages upon pages of other lions.

This issue will continue into the next subject, and will be reviewed later. But for now, I think we need to figure out a plan to boost lioness sales.

Lets break down a semi issue here. With the lack of hereditary issues from inbreeding, people are able to breed their cubs back to their father. Meaning, they can get more of his marks that were missed the first time around, so if lets say they wanted a lioness with the same markings as the father, they could just breed back the offspring until they get it. Since the lioness market is totally crashing, they just chase off the unwanted cubs. they don't have to go out and buy new lionesses because they can just keep breeding their own.

Lets say you have bought one lioness, she is the start of creating your very own dreamie. You keep breeding her and obtaining 1-3 cubs at a time, you keep trying to sell off the ones you don't want, but no one is buying them. So now you are stuck with chasing them off, but you feel terrible for having to do it. (Ive heard a lot of people complain that they feel bad for chasing a lioness from their pride, especially one with great markings)

So they sit around taking up room in your pride as your trying to keep extending on her markings through breeding and process of elimination. The unfortunate fact is, that there is no money in it. Everyone is getting money from selling food in the branch or trade center.

Another suggestion is by having more males appearing in the breeding. Since Males are just subs unless they are lucky enough to become someone's king. People chase them off all the time, so its kind of normal. Yes we would have a male explosion but it makes the females more valuable. In which we need.

As for sub males there is practically no use for them other than patrolling, and if you wanted one as your heir... well good luck, you have to pay a ton of GB to remove your current king from his rule.

So... How do we solve these issues? (Other than inbreeding issues being solved) Well that just leads into my next suggestions.

Lion Search/Sales

The Trading center is Messy, you have to search through pages upon pages, and thousands upon thousands of lions and items to try and find just one that suits your fancy. So what do we do about this?

Why not create our very own Sales section for just this alone? On their profile you can set them for an sb price, and list them. People can search by level, coat color, markings, mane type, price, etc. They could stack them, and narrow down their search. This will bring people into wanting to spend time searching and checking out the lions, instead of groaning when they have to spend hrs in the trade center because they cant really specify anything.

With this I suggest that the lions in the search, have a small picture on the side, name bellow, and marks or stats on the right side. This way its easy and fluent. People will not have to click on thirty different links to find the one lion they are looking for. I see the appeal in making people look at other lions they may not otherwise consider, but then you can still leave the trade center open for people looking to trade a lion for something, or just to see if people come across it.

Kings

I love the idea of kings, of how it restricts the breeding down and keeps cubs from exploding across the board with all the studs. But the problem is, that a lot of good looking males are being passed up and eventually chased off.

First off I believe that newbies who rolled for a lion should be able to have one free replacement. I had to spend 10gb to replace my ugly male with a more suitable king. I found it unfair because there was no way I could have earned studding sb with that male. Or breed some pretty lionesses out of him. He ended up never having a cub. The fact that they last for 3 months... yes its great for earning stats, but it also decreases the amount of subs and possible heirs going through the market. Now I can suggest that stats are raised through breeding high leveled males and lionesses, but thats pretty much already there.

At the same time there are many males that people don't want to let go of. Well in the wild Kings can get chased off in a heart beat. All it takes is a stronger male. Perhaps this can be an option. The only other lion that can knock your lion out of his position without having to pay 10gb or wait until he is old... will have higher stats and a higher level. This will force more people to breed for stats. (Stats kind of feel worthless at this point)

Stud Search

Now down to a Stud Search... I have posted my boy in the stud board but it is swiftly swallowed up by other posts. Especially for those looking for our newest marking. Perhaps we can create a special search where the lions/lionesses would be sold? You could look for the same things, markings, coat color, stats, stud price, etc. Stopping the mind boggling search of the stud board. I try to search the board, but everyone has a strange title, its confusing and I have the hardest time trying to find the right marking or color base im looking for.

In this case I could just search and click. It would make things faster, simpler, and easier. Plus people who can't keep up with the fast posting of the board, can finally reach through the mess and actually make some money.

Rarity Aid - (Would need some serious work to figure out how)

Now I know there is a post of this for your newbies. However it doesn't post everything that is in the lions wardrobe. It would be nice if you could go somewhere, click on a drop down menu, the marking, and then finally how rare it is. If its Special, custom, uncommon, common etc. I have a hard time determining what is considered special. I mostly have to go by what other lions have while im going through the trade center. Or ask a million questions no one wants to answer in chat. >.> Ive gotten ignored on multiple accounts.



SOOOOO... With all these possible changes, I was wondering if anyone else had any ideas to throw in. If you have posted a board similar, feel free to post bellow. I want opinons, Open discussion, lets work together to find solutions to these problems. Of course I am looking for your support, So even if you have a board posted, please click so we can keep this one zooming to the top of the list. :)

• Well.. Maybe they can do percentages... like on howrse they have a page where it shows how many horses of a particular type of breed and color are on the game. One suggestion would be an auto update of the total stats... sometimes its so difficult to calculate - Lion Rarity

•I think when a lion goes up for sale, it should freeze its age. That ways if someone wants to sex change their lion, they dont end up finding the perfect lion but the wrong sex, but cant be changed because its too old. Ive had that happen twice. (Sad face)

Lions should also transfer immediately upon sale, regardless of age. There is a huge high risk factor for scams. Also, people can easily ninja sales of lions in trade reserved for other players. There are some ways to prevent this, but over all the need to reserve sales through the trade center is a bit clunky.

With each sale I would think a small image or thumbnail of each lion would be great too, but might be too much to ask :D - Trade Sales
