As suggested below if the bird fails once the lioness gets the carcass of the bird and you have the option to buy a new one (this WILL and SHOULD be for SB, none of this 100 gold beetle stuff)

I got this idea when the egg from the new shop showed up.

You can buy an egg (like from a vulture/hawk/eagle) and incubate it (clicking on it each day like when you pay attention to the pride) and after a week it hatches into a chick, you then "raise" it for three days by still giving it attention and when it grows up, you get the bird and can either give it to a lioness or a sub male to "assist" them in finding food. It ensures at least one carcass but can only be used once per day.

It should also be a decor item when attached to a Lioness/Sub male
