I hate the pink eyes so I wouldn't support it with that rule in it. I much prefer the blue eyes with albinos, and considering my pride is made up of whites and albinos this would rather lessen my enjoyment. However, if the forcing of pink eyes is scrapped, I'd consider supporting this.

"Albinos" that have blue eyes are not true albinos. While I don't like the pink eyes either, any true albino need to have pink/red eyes.

According to Wikipedia, there is something out there called ocular albinism where the eyes can indeed be blue. I don't know if this occurs in animals however.

I think the albinism on the site more closely resembles luecism:

I don't think the change should affect already present lions, just those newly generated through birth or customization. The forced pink eyes is kind of silly, but I like the idea of certain coats being a little more rare, like the "albino" and Maltese lions.

I think that the problem with this is that the colors on Lioden are not very ealistic. White and Albino lions are very rare. But as far as I know there aren't any Maltese or Black lions at all in the wild or zoos.

Also, it would be VERY rare, more so than a white lion (which are bred in captivity) to find a spotted copper lion, a black lion with a white mane, or pretty much any custom colored lion on Lioden in captivity or the wild.

There's already a mutation that's exactly what you're talking about, Achromia. Xylax has already said that they will not change the albino base or achromia mutation.

Also, forcing an albino based lion to have pink eyes? That isn't how the eye color is decided on Lioden. Unlike skin colors which have set bases, eye colors depend on the parents' eyes and their fails, not the base color.

The albino base is unrelated to the achromia mutation (the one that makes a lion an actual albino). The albino base is just a coat color. What you’re suggesting is basically making the albino base into a mutation that already exists ingame and which has a very high pass rate. No support.

As in she's really cute but I feel like the eyes just don't really push the idea of "albino" id like albinos to be more realistic
