Original Suggestion: I have looked through the past pages and haven't really seen anything about this but.. I feel like the Stud option on a player's male should disappear? or not not even be clickable for any other players trying to stud from that male when that male has 0/15 slots available.. It's really sad/disappointing to constantly have to turn down requests because I have no more slots. But it can get even a tad frustrating when, as a player, you can see how many stud slots a player's male has available when you go to send a stud request.. so if a player sees that there are 0/15 slots available why are they still able to send a request? Perhaps there should be a little modification where the Stud option disappears to other players after it reaches 0 slots then reappears the following week. Or mayhaps it could just become an unclickable thing to other players looking to Stud. Suggestions by Players: Mandie [The 200-Reds!] (#5276): "Remove the chance for players to click the "send stud request" button and replace it with "this male no longer has any stud slots open" :D" Gemsbok2-QuadPanther/TripleVit (#26645): if someone sends a request, it should take up a slot. If it's removed, it opens a slot back up. EverestII [LAWS/HSC/TLC] (#14495): I really like the option that if a request is put in, it takes one of the slots. That's just like if someone puts in a trade offer, the beetles are already removed from their account. It of course, gets put back into one's account if offer/request is not accepted. _________________________________________ |

To be honest I'd rather have the stud slots /removed/... I don't see why a male can only be studded to 15 times. Seems kinda stupid to me.. especially for the high demand studs which lose all of their slots in like, less than a day. Plus for studs with low prices.. they won't get that much in a week because after 15 studdings they can't be studded to anymore and have to wait until the next week before they can stud again. I really see no point in the limited stud slots anyway. 0 players like this post! Like? |

It keeps people from having monopoly's over studding.. if there were no limits, not only would certain people be able to just have control over the studding market, but the cub crisis would just worsen. People would just stud all day everyday, continuously waiting for energy to be regained and hunger to be relieved so they can just keep studding. Personally I think 15 slots is the perfect amount. Not too little, but not too much. But that being said, that was a bit off topic for this thread ^^' It's mostly just a suggestion for those who do stud for regular income. Sometimes people over-flood your inbox with stud requests you can't take because all your slots are gone. So the idea would be just to make it so that once stud slots are filled, players can no longer send requests until roll over. 0 players like this post! Like? |

It's frustrating too because right now, a person could see that a stud has say 1-3 slots left open so puts in a request, but has no idea how many other requests were already put in on those same 1-3 slots. I really like the option that if a request is put in, it takes one of the slots. That's just like if someone puts in a trade offer, the beetles are already removed from their account. It of course, gets put back into one's account if offer/request is not accepted. So, this facet is already in place in this game. Just needs to extend to auto-slots for studding. 0 players like this post! Like? Edited on 20/09/14 by EverestII [LAWS/HSC/TLC] (#14495) |

That is a good suggestion Everest :) It would certainly help out. I've had that happen too, where I have only a few slots left but more than that in requests x.x 0 players like this post! Like? |

No support. While it would lessen confusion A LOT it would also hurt bulrush sales as people are often guilted into buying them when they have more stud requests than slots. 0 players like this post! Like? |

I disagree. Firstly, this suggestion was made quite a bit before bulrush was implemented into the game :P Secondly, bulrush is a GB item, a luxury item. It's a choice made by the player to buy. This means that if the player does not buy bulrush, the studding button would be faded out, because there are no stud slots left, and therefore no stud requests may be sent. If, however, the player does buy bulrush, the studding button would not be grayed out/blacked out/gone etc. Because they have extended the slots. So bulrush sales would not be affected in anyway. EDIT: Sorry if this came out a bit snippy sounding. Wasn't intentionally just trying to point out stuff @^@ 0 players like this post! Like? Edited on 25/02/15 by .::VulpesFelis::.. (#17507) |

Though, even if it was made before bulrush bulrush is here now, and in my opinion is a good way to get people to use GB. I do believe the sales would be affected fairly, as I do not believe many people plan to buy bulrush, but rather do so in response to already made requests. I find it very unlikely that people will spend the GB on bulrush if they are not certain they will be receiving any requests unless they have a high reward/risk.(IE if they have a fairly popular stud with a fee of 3+ GB that would cover the cost in a small time frame) All GB items are luxuries, but why would that mean that mean we should make their accessibility less worth-while? 0 players like this post! Bulrush sales would not be affected. An easy fix would be a prompt similar to that which shows up after you use all your energy in explore. "you have received x number of stud requests, however you are all out of slots. Would you like to purchase bulrush from the oasis to extend your slots for the week?" The player could have the choice of selecting yes, which would take them to the oasis to purchase the bulrush, or no/ignore in which nothing would happen and the studding request button would gray out, or something of the like. This way bulrush would not have to be purchased in a guessed manner beforehand. The sales would remain the same. If the player wants it, they'd buy it after the prompt, if not they wont buy it. 0 players like this post! Like? Edited on 25/02/15 by .::VulpesFelis::.. (#17507) |

Perhaps I've read something wrong here, but isn't the point of this suggestion to remove the ability to send a stud request when no slots are available? How would you receive stud requests when you have used all your slots?(Referring to "you have received x number of stud requests, however you are all out of slots.") 0 players like this post! Like? |

That is the point. You then pointed out to me that you would not support because of the possibility of bulrush sales going down. Therefore, i offered a solution to that problem. The solution being what you quoted in your reply. At this point in time, say if you have 5 slots remaining. You could receive 6+ slots, and you would STILL get notifications for them, because until you actually accept the requests, the stud slot number does not go down. Obviously you can see then, that you would need to purchase bulrush, and then may be prompted to do so. The prompt would not have to be worded exactly as I worded it, as it was just an example. Edit: If you had 0 slots to begin with, the prompt to buy bulrush could still be there. Especially if you know your main male has been popular with studdings. "you've run out of slots, buy more with bulrush" etc. etc. 0 players like this post! Like? Edited on 26/02/15 by .::VulpesFelis::.. (#17507) |

I would support, but I've had situations where I've gotten breeding requests on Sunday and notice they'd still be in heat the next day... I just wait until Monday and do the breeding then. I mean, you can always just cancel the breeding... 0 players like this post! Like? |

That's true, but it is quite annoying to constantly get notifications when you have 0 stud slots left and people are still able to send requests. That and not all breeding requests happen on sunday. This is just to stop all the notifacations saying that you have breeding requests when really you shouldnt be able to get requests if youre all out of slots. 0 players like this post! Like? You can always turn off your stud requests until Sunday night. I typically run out on Thursday and then put him back up on Sunday night. 0 players like this post! Like? |

I tried that a few times but I always forgot to turn it back on. To me it just makes more sense that players shouldn't be able to send requests after slots are gone. 0 players like this post! Like? Edited on 12/03/15 by .::VulpesFelis::.. (#17507) |

So much support. I was so surprised when I got a stud request even though I had no more slots left. And to be honest, I find it really annoying. 0 players like this post! Like? |
