Kari walked countless miles before she reached the end of the long-dry lake bed. She could tell the salt pan was behind her because the ground grew softer, bits of vegetation started popping up, and the elevation changed. She had been wandering quite a bit and assumed she had gotten ahead of the pride, so she wandered around the shrub land, wanting to catch something to eat. It didn't take long to find a old gazelle, and Kari brought it down swiftly and without falter, and then eating her fill, occasionally chasing away a stray buzzard or hyena.

"Yes little one. Go find my daughter. She is somewhere around here somewhere." She looked at the cub and waited it to leave before adjusting her position and jumping on his back again.

"Oh good lord!" He whined getting pushed back to the ground again he whined "Wada you want to do? I'm bored" He huffed trying to push her off.

Muerte rolled in the blood of the carcus happly like a cub, when a hare jumped of a bush near by she pounced on it killing it for getting to close to her carcus, she hadn't eaten anything just the vocal cords she had left the heart for her mother if she did find her in the end. She carried the hare back to the carcus putting it down inside it. She then layed back down and rolled again in the pool of blood.

"Aunt Ada! Aunt Ada! Look what I killed!" Sarita said as she bounced around with the parrot in her jaws. "Yes, I see Sari." Adaliz said to her. She was quite proud of herself, and hungry, but she didn't want to ruin her perfect signature.

Kari walked around the shrub lands, around the plains, and through a small marshland before she caught any scent of the pride. She had been gone for half a week and other than the occasional male trespasser, she hadn't had a good fight, and she still needed to keep her claws sharp, so she went to find a pride member to meet in The Arena. She wandered around the loose group of lions an sat down somewhere in the middle.

Aella finished the impala, licking the blood from her whiskers. She chewed on a bone for a while before abandoning the tiny scraps and bones to hyenas. Aella padded away, lion scent filling her nostrils, turning on her senses. The onyx lioness narrowed her light green eyes and froze, listening.
