She starts heading back towards the pride, her head down (Which is VERY unnatural for her), and her steps slow.

"You worthless Scrap of meat!" My father yelled again. I stared up at him in horror as he loomed over me, I cowered with my tail in between my legs, so he doesn't try to rip it off.

I had started to cry "Father! Please" I begged for him to calm down.

He lashed out at my side, his claw ripped through my flesh starting from my flank and up towards my shoulder.
I screamed (Lions scream) and didn't move a muscle for fear he would strike me again.
He snarled at me "This is what you get for being what you are...worthless..." he spat on me and with one last growl...he left.
"Clean yourself up!" he growled over his shoulder.

Kari rolled her eyes as time passed and nothing happened, she rolled onto her back for a while before practicing some fighting moves and then going to get a drink. Nothing had changed when she returned.

The big cat rose to her paws after a short nap on the rock. 'Nothing productive all day' she thought. She sat on the tip of the rock, looking over the plains, few lions were in sight, and all were too far to tell who they were. Kari let out another roar, she wondered if she could convince the leaders to get ranks, the pride also needed some new cubs to train. she wondered about Regina and when she would turn up again.
