To me it looks like a completely different mane suggestion and the OP decided to not make a new thread to keep all the supports that were given for silky mane and give the false appearance of large support for this one.
But that is just my speculation. I dont want to argue.

Although your observation was completely accurate given the circumstances in actuality the new mane is an update of the old one, and I didn't make a new thread because it was an update, NOT an entirely different mane. However, the disclaimer I thought I put up isn't there and i'm annoyed with myself for not realizing because that means that for a couple weeks now i've looked like a douche mongering for false support. Needless to say, It's been added. If backlash continues or if the disclaimer is deemed inadequate i'll certainly turn this into two separate posts, I just didn't think it was needed with the disclaimer up.

Silky Mane is already a mutation on females. Technically, it's called Mane Silky. Sorry, I'm not a fan of this mane. It just looks like wet hair.

@Hawksbill, yes I know it's a female mane mutation, this is supposed to be inspired by that, as says per the description. Wet hair was defiently an inspiration, I wanted this to look very different from any manes we already have. But it's ok, if you don't like it, pledge no support, so we can get an honest idea of who likes it and who doesn't. C:
