Hello! I had thought that this had been changed way back, but now, finally on my second way around to dreamboat I found that "Not Very Impressive" come as a lesser to "Not Impressive".

Now, looking at this more closely:

[Not] [Very Impressive]
Would mean that the subject could be a wee bit impressive, but isn't any greater than impressive.
[Not] [Impressive]
Means that the subject is not by any means impressive- No wiggle room here! You are not impressive, lion!

So why should something that suggests possible Impressiveness be considered less impressive than that which suggests no possible impressive impression?

The only way that [Not] with [Very] would make sense in the lesser case would be if it was [Very][Not Impressive] Which.. Well, sounds pretty horrid.

So, in short, I am saying that it should be:

Barely Noticeable => Not Impressive => Not Very Impressive => ect.

Rather than:

Barely Noticeable => Not Very Impressive => Not Impressive => ect.
