So disease is a real thing among wild cats of all species. I think it'd be interesting to include this in the game.

Mange - mange is caused by a mite that (in basic terms) makes the lions lose hair and itch terribly. This can sometimes go away, otherwise it's basically a death sentence. When mothers have this, their cubs get it as well.

Options for Mange - if a lioness contracts mange, you can decide whether to chase them from the pride, or observe them.
Chasing them from the pride removes the lioness and her cubs BUT it protects the rest of the pride from getting mange.
Observing them puts your pride at risk, however there is a chance it may be cleared, therefore saving your lioness and cubs.

Cures - Now Ivermectin in real life has been used to treat large cats. Sometimes human interaction via Ivermectin shot with a dart gun has saved large cats and their litters. Ivermectin could perhaps be available with golden beetles?

Natural Remedies - for the purpose of this game only, perhaps there is something that has a 50/50 chance of removing the mange from the lionesses. Either can be found while exploring or maybe even the monkey business.
