This is a template to marking suggestions.
You can design a marking with extreme detail so I can clearly see how to incorporate them to Lioden.

To get a nice smudge/blend effect just make a note on the image where it should blend (you can use arrows and notes).

To get a gradient effect just use gradients.

You do not have to be perfect - I am the artist of the site and I will make sure it looks good on our lions if I accept your marking, by changing things up a bit. Don't be upset if it looks a bit different than your suggestion, it's probably due to anatomy issues on official art (yes I am aware that damned teen males are horribly stretchy, etc ;_;). Or just my taste or knowledge on how to blend with other markings.

Please use existing colours of markings, to suggest new colours make a separate thread.

Stuff that needs a note:
Piebalds or black patches/somatic mutations - they do not belong here. Already suggested as mutations. They will NOT be markings.
Chimerism or erythrism - they do not belong here. Already suggested as mutations.

RULE no.1
Please only use the template to explain markings, link it in your post only, no other pictures to explain the markings. Preferably do not use Photobucket. It is horribly hard to preview it.
DO NOT post without a suggestion. I will remove any comments or questions. If you want to ask if I'd make Onyx Dorsal variation, make a separate thread. This one is for suggesting NEW MARKINGS!!!!

We can take into consideration suggestion of colours or rarity but it is finally up to the development team what exactly will happen.

How do I draw the marking???
There is a layer that is clipped into the BASE layer - you can draw there. It will never go outside the base/lineart and you can freely draw there without worrying you're going outside the lines.
If you want to make a light marking, simply darken the base - select BASE layer, click CTRL+U, lower lightness. To make a dark marking, just do the same, but make the lightness higher! Click OK and you can go back to "DRAW MARKINGS HERE" layer and draw!

Optionally there are .jpg and .png versions - you can use them as linearts and draw over them with multiply layer settings so the lineart appears as if it's over the marking.

To save just save this as .jpg and upload to an image hosting site like imgur, then link here in your post!
