Honestly I don't see why it'd be beneficial to the game. It'd be a huge rush to find a new 'queen' lioness before yours dies or you risk getting a hideous ncl. Plus, they try to keep the pack dynamics realistic in this game. There is no "queen" lion in real packs. All lionesses are on generally equal ground.

You would have one female you can keep for breeding basically. It wouldnt be a rush to find a new heir because you can do stat replacers just like males to just keep the color. In all pride/pack animals there is a more esteemed and respected female (I'm an Animal Science major)!

It would just be FUN!!! And isnt that what games are for? :)

It doesn't seem like it'd be 'fun' or anything. It's just like picking out a queen? And just, maybe putting
queen in her name? What good would it give back to the site? Thats hours of coding and programming and there is literally no point to it.

Having a heir is -needed-, It's not there for fun. It's there for when your current male dies and you need something to replace him.
The difference here is it is NEEDED. This is a needed part of the site. You don't have a heir, you get a randomly rolled NCL and most people really don't want to start up from 50 stats again.

but people go out of their way to customize for the breeding side of this site, so you'd basically have a forever breeding female for your male! The breeding part is a huge aspect :)

It sounds like a nice idea but no support, sorry. Say she has rare/special marks. However if her appearance is kept she then has cubs and the marks may be mass produced and lose value.

Annnd that's in no way beneficial to the site, in fact, people could use that to over-breed new and rare markings meant to stay, y'know, -rare-. They'd have a lionness with markings they could constantly breed to the point where low-and-behold, all markings are common and the economy is no longer properly functioning.

Real life lion prides don't have a Queen or dominant female, in real lion prides all the lionesses are related (mothers,sisters etc) that work together none is ranked higher then the other. Real life is not The Lion King. In some animals like horses, their is a pecking order in which each animal has a rank within the pack/herd. Lions are not one of them, the male or in some cases males dominant and the females and all cubs are equal.

Though no one can say LD is run like real prides. Real prides would never take in another prides cub, a male would not accept a rivals cub. Lionesses will reject a non-related lioness, a lead male of a pride will mate will all lioness, other males will not 'stud' themselves out to rival prides, and of course they won't trade each other. LioDen is nowhere near being like a real pride.

Though I agree, there is no point to this. What would be the point? You can breed any lioness already, yet only males who are a King can breed, sub-males can not. So what will be special about being a Queen for a lioness when every lioness on the game already does the same?
