So, I'm working on a design for a new OC of mine c:
He's got a space theme, but for the life of me I can't seem to draw it right ;o;
Help please?

I use Autodesk Sketchbook Pro and have access to GIMP, but no Photoshop or Paint Tool Sai. What I want to draw is like a nebula/galaxy kind of thing, one of those really cool looking shots with all the different colored gas clouds and starry spirals, like these:

I'm just asking for some tips on how to draw them, or maybe a link to a good tutorial for them. Any help at all is appreciated, thanks! c:

Paint splats and a canvas. As long as you use the right colours and black as a base, you'll always get space. :P

Which autodesk paint pro do you have?

There are several, the latest - Pro 7, has more brushes, and some that are dots that can be used for the start patterns and some that can help blend colors to make it look like the first and second one with the colors.

It says version 7.1.0 and I just got it for Christmas, so I assume it's the latest.
Do you know which brushes in particular would be best? c:

If you have Autodesk Sketchbook pro 7, then on the side where it has the tools(all the brushes) there should be to options, one is to resize and change the density of the brush and the other is a 'brush library.

First one

There are multiple brushes I would recommend, but the ones shown in the picture below should be the best for doing a space scene.

second one

These will also help, there's blenders and air brushes. (shown in the pic below)

third one
