Basically this whole idea is that bases are only available limitedly, specifically the custom/oasis bases and NCL bases. So the idea is then that after a certain amount of time, a base would be retired, and we'd only be able to get it through breeding. Some of the less popular bases might pretty much die out, and the rarity of those bases would go up. At some point in the future they could then be "released from the vault" so to speak, where they would be available again for a limited amount of time. This ebb and flow would keep bases from becoming too undesirable. Especially considering a lot of people like bases, but really only breed for what's rare because its valuable.


This is basically just word vomit and I haven't really thought it through entirely, any ideas/suggestions/criticisms are welcome. :)
