New layout!This wonderful new layout is a step into more friendly interface for PC users, iPad and mobile users! Everything is very flexible, the colours are less brown-boring now. The new layout is intended to be a lot more mobile friendly - there are some areas we're aware of that are buggy, but they should hopefully be fixed in a few days. Yay for mobile! We hope that before you state "I hate this" you browse for a few days and see if you actually enjoy the changes! Every change is affecting your daily routine so obviously it's gonna be different for a while. We believe this layout is easier on gameplay, colours vibrant and positive and the background is very exciting! EVENT now has its own separate tab, and FAQ next to it is something I have prepared for new users or common questions - if you think of any common question please PM me, I will be editing the FAQ few days a week. If you notice any issue with new layout please report to This Thread Remember that your personal Den .css coding is not going to be working in new layout, you need to edit it :x  SYC boardsWe are taking off Sharpen Your Claws forums temporarily due to neverending arguing. We have noticed there's a trend of people reposting same controversial topics worded in a very specific manner just to get more fights between players. We want to see how Lioden's community will act without the venting boards, without the aggression. If you want to share stuff about your friend's death, that would belong to 18+ forums, if you want to complain about your lions being lazy and not bringing food, Free-For-All would be great, etc. But some topics will now stay off Lioden and we want to keep it that way for a while. Okay, on my phone now and I have to say it's a bit off putting that I can't see the chats on the side or my energy/hunger/etc anymore. :( also I can't see anyone's avatars on the forum. Ummmm... Hmn, yeah, not trying to be too gripey, just pointing out things to maybe consider changing. I think on computer the layout does need some zooming out and tightening up - a lot of the boxes are far too spread out to be aesthetically pleasing. Also seconding what another user said in that the navigation bar and chat column should get back their wooden branch look. That would make thing feel more immersive again, and less... Idk. I also miss having a header up at the top. It was great for dressing the site up a bit. Tre site feels incomplete without it. Like something didn't load. 0 players like this post! I like it! It's very nice, I thought the old one was too bright and this one is nicer, which seems contrast to everyone else lol (will still hold out for a perfect nighttime variant though...) I will agree that it's to zoomed in I usually just scale down webpages anyway but doing this makes the lion images blurry now :( 0 players like this post! Like? |

I don't much care for the size of everything, the layout is nice yes. However I do find it a bit too bulky for my tastes as I play strictly on my computer. 0 players like this post! Like? |

I normally like the updates, but the new layout is a bit.... Ehh.... It's too big for my taste and kinda hurts my eyes in some places. I'd love an option to change it back to the old layout. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Well....I am sure this took a whole bunch of coding and I appreciate the effort the Lioden team makes to keep their players (both those on computers and mobile) happy and to keep things interesting. It's nice to see admin who care. That being said, to be honest I really do not like this change. Here's the things I'm struggling with as a player: - Screen is WAY too bright - I had to zoom out to 75% before I was comfortable enough to look at the screen - The chat box is much harder to read from, especially once I've zoomed out to a comfortable distance on the screen I will wait on my other thoughts until I've had a few days to wrap my head around these changes. If there is any way to make it so players could choose which layout they'd like, that would be outstanding :) 0 players like this post! Like? |

I can't enter other lion's territories. I can hover over the square and get the info but I can't click it to fight the pride male and see their pride But I do like the new layout however I can see what people are talking about. I've been on Lioden for maybe 10 minutes now and my eyes hurt and I'm starting to get a headache The colours could be a little darker 0 players like this post! After doing my daily feeding and playing and such on my Kindle, here's my thoughts so far: Loving: The overall aesthetic The fact that every page doesn't have to resize (huge, huge improvement) The fact that "Breeding Info" lists parents. Not loving: The fact that sometimes there's no indication whatsoever whether I've pressed a button or not. (Was a problem with the old layout, too, so it's certainly not new) My bookmarks are not visible My lion's impression % is not visible My items are back to only showing the number of items per stack, rather than uses as well.
