omg that looks super cute!!! since your lineart is so clean you can probably lock your layer (depending on your program) that'll make it a lot easier to color it in!! Also don't be afraid to play with the overlay modes! Sometimes I duplicate the lineart so that I can add warmth and light angle to it while still keeping it dark and clear!

I think you can actually!! just saw a screenshot of it lmao it should be above your layers, from what i see you have layer protect, clip and lock! and the overlays are right over them called blending modes. Each mode does something different so definitely play around with them!!

it looks really cute!! I love the wip and sparkles!! And locking a layer is very helpful especially with lineart! It basically makes it so that whatever you color in a picture stays locked to that layer, which makes it a lot easier to color lineart! like if i were to try and color my lineart without locking it this would have

but if I lock my lineart layer it looks like this


you can also use a clipping layer over your lineart for essentially the same effect!

It really does make it look a lot better!! And yeah its definitely a lot better than redrawing the line all over again and switching colors every time oof also doing it this way means you can also blend it and play around with it!!

Yes!! I think I'll stick with colored lines, it makes it a lot softer plus with the layer lock it will definitely be more easy I'm absolutely horrible at both blending and shading but I try every now and then!

Oh another thing locking is good for is coloring!! Once you have the base color down you can just lock it to shade over it without having to worry about drawing outside the base color or making more layers for it!!
