Hey everyone! I'm horribly new to this game and am clueless about the economy and what things are worth. But I've been thinking about selling my art in various ways and need some help figuring out how I should price it. *NEW*A silly blue footed booby I drew for a friend. Here's a sketch example. Here's a more recent one. Now for the flat drawings. Kazooie My OC, Zephyr. (quite old actually) Another OC, Furseph. He's also an original species of mine if anyone would be interested in me selling/auctioning some of those. Orion the canid Soundchaser A little more sketchy than most. Bakuwolf, or werewolf Bakura if we have any fans of the original Yu-Gi-Oh in the house. A doodle I did of Smile.Dog from my tumblr. These are examples of some of my more detailed/fully painted drawings. If I decide to sell these, they'll be very limited since they take me a while to do, but I've seen a lot of interest for them so I may offer them in the future. *NEW* Katerpillar. More of a doodle than a fully detailed piece. An older wolf I did to test a new brush. Zale, also a little old. I was commissioned to draw him, although this was just a little bonus I threw in for being late finishing it, it's not the actual commission. Oyez. A more human version of werewolf Bakura. Some nightmare fuel I did as a vent. Also the most recent example I have to offer. So what do you guys think? Based on what I've seen around, my guess would be somewhere around 50SB? Am I close at all? Also, on the off chance that I decided to offer my full paintings for GB, how many of those do you think I could get? It's something I might consider. Okay, your art is fucking amazing. Here is how I would price each of your pieces if they were custom commissions: Rune and Sukura (uncolored lines) 25GB Zeph : 28-30GB (coloring seem simple then I'm not sure it worth way more than uncolored) Furseph : 5-8GB Bloody Ori and Bakuwolf: 8-15GB Thing headshot : 5GB Magenta Wolf and Coming Darkness : 20-30GB Zale Badge Thinger : 25-30GB Res and Werekura : 25-40GB (take in consideration GB are not priced like dollars, then 20GB does not equal 10$, because most players here spend lots of hours to get their GB then value them higher than how much you could buy them from the oasis. ) 0 players like this post! Sketches: 10-15 GB Flats: 15-25 GB Shaded: 40-50 GB I used Virus' suggestion, but with a tad different price range. The variation in each price estimate is for you to decide. Depending on pose, character, texture, and anatomy, it likely takes you varying amounts of time and effort to do different commissions. If the character is a simple wolf, sketches might just cost 10 GB. If it's a dragon, maybe more along 15 GB if that takes more effort for you. Same goes for flats and shaded- it depends on the effort involved. I think my prices are accurate to people who really love their OC's and will be willing to pay a good sum to get quality art of them. Your art is gorgeous and many people will pay well for your art. Use prices around the higher end if you want to be paid well by the minority who have that much. Downsize by about 10-20 GB (depending on what it is, sketch vs shaded for example) if you want a lot of business from people who don't have much money. It all depends on what you want for your art, what you think it's worth, and what people will pay for it. People will pay prices around mine listed above and even higher, as you can see suggested by others. c: Hope this helps! 0 players like this post! Like? |

Definitely in the GB only range. Around 5 for an unrefined sketch, 10-15 for solid lineart and 20-30 for a fully colored/shaded pic. wonderful beautiful artwork~<3 Though I wish you'd start small prices first, though you'd be flooded with requests then XD but maybe I'd be able to afford it. The downside of charging many GB is that you lose the poorer majority of lioden players, so while you'd be making bank, there would be many rubberneckers (who have no money and just wanna stroke your artistic ego... like me xux). if you ever do live streams hit me up~<3 I'd love to watch 0 players like this post! I'd say recolors about 1-2 gb and then full bodies ranging with decor or what not 5-25 gb. I've seen a lot of art lately and I have to say I'm really amazed by yours! It's wonderful! And if you do open I'd love to get some art done of my king. You've got a good eye for not just body shape but the lines of feathers and what not. I know they are quite hard to do and even harder to make look real. I will most deff keep my eye on you lol ;-) 0 players like this post! Like? |

Your art looks really good :) I agree with most, from 15 (for sketches) to about 50GB+ sounds proper :) And yay for SAI - I use it too :p (if you're open for art trades, I'd totally like to do one with you - look me up on dA or FA (FA has more of my works, I don't post everything on dA, but it's all SFW) under same name as here :) 0 players like this post!
