*stares at title* "Wait... What?" If that was you, listen closely! If you know what the title is about, then bravo! In real life, felines and canines can end up with litters sired by different parents. That being said, a dog with a litter of four puppies can have each puppy genetically sired by a different father. This is what is called Heteropaternal Superfecundation. If you're like me and love to stud out your females so your king can have babies with their cubs, you might often find yourself having to choose between two favorite studs (That was my case this morning when I went stats over looks). Then, you have to wait the entire twenty days for your lady to be off breeding cooldown to breed with the other stud, creating more cubs than necessary. With Heteropaternal Superfecundation, this can decrease the amount of unwanted cubs that are born (say each breeding gives you four cubs, that's technically four extra cubs that don't need to be born) in the system. How it works!An item would be used on your lioness to open up another father slot. This, in turn, would guarantee at least two cubs in her next litter (one from each father) but there would be the possibility of the total of four cubs with the total possibilities of: 2 cubs: 1 from each father 3 cubs: 2 from one father, 1 from another 4 cubs: 2 from each father 4 cubs: 3 from one father, 1 from another However, this is only if you bought one of these items. With the possibility of one cub per father, players could buy three of these items in total to open up three extra father spots, creating litters of four cubs with one cub from each father. The only downside (if this really is a downside) is you would have to also pay each male's stud fee (unless an extra father was your own king!). This makes it so it is an option, but for a price. Edit: This would only be an event item! I'm not sure how hard this would be to code in, nor do I think that this is a, "We must have this now!" suggestion. But thoughts? Comments? Suggestions? |

I don't really support this. I know it happens in real life, and there was a case of a human mom having twins who each had a different father. And here I thought it wasn't possible in humans. (I don't know everything lol) But I'm more concerned over cost of the item, and the paying extra stud fees. I mean it's all well and good for those that can afford them. For those that can't afford two different stud fees, it may not be entirely fair. But that's just me. I'm sure others have more valid reasoning.  0 players like this post! Like? |

I'm on the fence about this. For now though, I want to address the Oasis situation. Items purchasable for GB (that are in the Oasis) are not meant to give an advantage in the game. In this manner, you can guarantee there would be 2, 3, or 4 cubs to a litter. Even though you factor in different fathers, that is definitely an advantage given, similar to the Grain or Paradise or the Buffalo Scrotum. It definitely would not work as an Oasis item. It's supposed to be luxury items (bringing a girl into heat, fast forwarding a pregnancy, customization, gender changing) not items that give players an advantage (additional cubs). 0 players like this post! Taking into account what Torquil said I think these items should only be rewarded as event items that way it doesn't give certain players an advantage over anyone else. Everyone would have the chance to buy them but they'd only be on the market for a little while that way they don't overinflate the cub market too much. Although I do support this, these items should only be available during events like the grain of paradise and buffy balls. 0 players like this post! Like? |

I do support this for a different reason: As a fan of Big Cat Diaries, their have been episodes where cubs have been sired by a supporting male. This could be a good thing to have up to 3 males , aside from the sub-males. Like ones who have rights to mating and exploring options too. 0 players like this post! Like? |

I think it is an interesting feature - what I do not support about it is the guarantee that you will have X amount of cubs in a litter. At the moment I cannot think of another way of doing it, perhaps a percentage chance on each cub being either either father? Not too sure how it could work otherwise. 0 players like this post!
