In this world horses are rare, having been used for food for a long while by humans due to a disease having infected cattle and almost wiping them out. Horses were the only species not to be effected. Everything's changed now, the world isn't in a crisis any more and cattle numbers are on the rise. Throughout this whole fiasco there's been small groups of people that have rescued horses and bred them, keeping the species from going extinct. These horses were raised with minimal interactions and taught to fear humans, in the hopes that one day they can release them into the wild and begin to start a new wild population. That day came a small while ago and wild herds have started to form, journeying to find a place to live and learning how to deal with the wild threats.

Explanation of ranks
Lead stallion: The most dominant stallion within the herd, usually the first horse to deal with a predator if it gets too close. He also usually decides upon where they graze and fends other stallions from taking their lands. Only one.
Lead mare: The most dominant mare within the herd, assists the lead stallion on deciding upon grazing places and will lead the herd away from danger. Only one.
Shamans: These tend to be horses that were ill in the younger parts of their lives and have picked up on a few things from the humans. they picks up on herbs as the humans weren't allowed to use 'artificial' medicines on horses as it was classed as a waste. Two only (one is usually an apprentice).
Scouts: These horses tend to live on the outskirts of the herd and will look out for dangers, they are also usually the lowest ranking horses. Only four.

RULES:
1. All Lioden rules apply.
2. This is REALISTIC so realistic characters please.
3. Semi-literate to literate, so no one/two liners PLEASE! exceptions can be made if you have a good reason, message me though.
4. Fade to black when necessary
5. There can be things like forced breeding etc. BUT please get the consent of the other player first.
6. Message others first if you wish to seriously injure/ kill their character and get their consent .
8. NO stray foals, if you wish to be a foal please find a mother.
9. No more than three characters each.
10. Try and keep the genders as even as possible.
