Shifting SpiritsAlready accepted? Role-play here!A warm mist surrounds your body, masking the scents of the forest. You feel cold, despite the beaming morning sun. Suddenly, a crackle of leaves sounds behind you and you whirl around to see a...... a tribe of humans staring expectantly at you. "Welcome to the Forest of Shifting Spirits." The voice seems to be all around you as if the whole forest is speaking but yet it just comes from one of the humans before you. "You are one of us. Your spirit longs to be one of the Others. An animal lives deep inside of you and it urges to be set free." All you can do is stare in bewilderment as the humans in front of you start to change. A voice speaks in your mind, "We are one." This time however, the voice seems oddly familiar yet you've never heard it before. With a shudder you realise that this is what they were talking about. Your spirit is more that you ever imagined. (Original Rp idea by RainWatcher (#40211)  This is the Star Stones. Where the Shifters gather to share their newfound spells, talk or just hang out. The way to get here is by following the Lake Path to its end and you will come across the Star Stones. This is where all "Tribe" meetings are held.  The Lake Path where most Shifters often like to swim. This is the main route to the Star Stones and the Forest Village where the Shifters live. There are many different types of fish living in this lake and some Shifters even like to hunt in their animals forms in the lake.  These are the houses in which the Shifters live, commonly referred to as the "Forest Village." Each Shifter lives in their own house but Trainee Shifters live closest to their Teachers. Their houses are usually separated by a very short rope bridge instead of a long one that joins all the houses. Every single house is connected by rope bridges and there are stairs and ladders leading up to each of them. Rules:~No perfect characters, godmodding or power playing. ~Lioden Rules apply. ~Please keep swearing to a minimum. ~3+ sentences. Please be literate. If you don't speak fluent english please don't join. ~Do not kill, seriously injure or hurt another character without their owners permission. ~Feel free to cause drama but don't do it all the time. ~Every Shifter studies an element of magic but the White Magic Shifters specialise in lots of different types of magic and shifting. (Your shifter must know some sort of magic but doesn't have to ever have any involvement in it if that is what you wish.) ~Only past tense writing please. 1st or 3rd person are both ok. ~Check to see what animals are already taken. Only one type of a certain animal. No double ups! ~Fade to black only if mating, birthing is ok. ~Be nice to everyone! ~Shifters have only ONE animal form so choose wisely. You can't change it! ~Put your favourite number in Other if you've read the rules. ~Trainee Shifters are Shifters that have not yet discovered their animal form. Once they can shift as they please they will move to their own house and begin to study magic. ~When Posting put "Name|Age|Gender|Species|Rank." It just makes it easier to follow. Despite that she's quite independent, and hates being bossed around. She's outgoing and tends to like having attention, though she is much better at sharing the spotlight now than when she was younger. Mai is a little OCD, preferring to keep her quarters totally clean and organized. She is naturally very loyal, and so expect to be a forever friend if you catch her attention as a good person. Bio: Maina had a fairly average life, growing up in a middle class family. She was an only child, and a little spoiled, thus her tendency to seek attention. However, as she got more mature, she became less of a snob and more considerate. She woke up one day at the village, and although incredibly confused and a little bratty the first days, has enjoyed her new life. It's not that he had a very traumatic past, it's simply his personality. He might not seem very social and will very seldom approach other people- he has to be approached first. Feliks's people skills aren't too great, but with time and understanding, he can warm up to people and prove to be a loyal friend. Feliks likes to be alone rather than with people and he finds peace in nature which is a momentary escape from reality. Despite being 16 years old and living in the village for 3 years, Feliks still hasn't discovered his animal form. Sometimes it upsets him and he wonders if he's special or not. He doesn't like people asking him about it and prodding him with questions as to why he doesn't know what animal he can change into. Bio: Feliks was born in Russia, but shortly after his birth, his mother passed away, leaving him with his father and older brother. His father was a wealthy businessman and he made the decision for the family to move when Feliks was 10 and his brother was 14. After the move, they moved into a large city which Feliks greatly disliked, but was too afraid to tell his father about. In school, Feliks wasn't all that popular and was an easy target for bullying. As time passed, Feliks began to ditch school and he would have a cab take him as far away from the city as possible and he always remembered he had to be back before nightfall, which he was good about following. Until spring break came when Feliks was 13. He packed up clothes, food, and water and took a cab to take him to the outer fringes of the city. From there, he simply left. He intended to be back before the week was over, but had gotten himself lost. He came across the village when he was in low morale and poor physical condition. @Dreamer - "Age: (No younger than 14-ish please):" I would prefer for them to be at least 14 years old otherwise they would definitely be a Trainee. The leader's mate would probably be older than 13. @Skoll - Lovely! Accepted! @Hawk - Accpeted! @Pem - Great! Accepted! He loves company and will often be caught with at least one other person. However, his friendliness and outgoing ways can be annoying at times. Mason is not very flirty, contrary to his lovable and happy personality. If he does in fact, get a crush on someone (male or female), he will likely act shy or awkward around them. Mason is also a brave soul and is highly independent. Even though he relys on people to talk to, he could easily do something alone with good quality. Masons stands for what he believes in, even if others think it is wrong. Bio:Mason Jones was born within the tribe, living a normal life. He doesn't have much significant about him, other than his father lead the tribe before his death. Mason never really knew his mother, as she disappeared when Mason was only 4. After her vanishing, he planned to become the best shifter ever, hoping to be leader someday. He is Rowan's twin brother. Him and Rowan grew very close, become best friends. As Rowan became leader, Mason supported his brother, even if he was slightly envious.
