Misha/ 1 yrs. 8 m./ Mudi Dog Lapping up the juice from the floor, the small grey and black dog's tail began to wag. This was the most food she'd had in a week. She started snuffling at the can when the juice disappeared, and soon had her strong jaw around the thin metal again. Her grip with her teeth suddenly slipped and she yelped loudly as the sharp metal of the lid cut deep into her lip and gums. Misha whined and licked at her lips, tasting blood. The female dog lied down where she sat and continued to lick the blood, staring at the meat and beans that had spilled from the can. Hazza/ 3 yrs. 10 m./ Doberman Soft paw steps awoke the Doberman from his fitful nap, and the lithe dog was on his worn paws before he was processing what he was hearing. His clipped ears perked and he listened silently for a few moments. At the sound of a dog speaking quietly to himself, the Doberman bared his teeth and pressed himself back against the wall behind him to stay covered behind the dumpster. The brute froze when another Doberman, this one white, stepped into view. As the other dog advanced, probably searching for food, Hazza's lips rose further and a threatening, deep growl left his throat. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Nyphadora She watched as her attacked moved his attention from her, to her sister. As soon as he turned to attack the pup, Ny jumped up and rammed herself into him, they rolled snapping and clawing one another until they finally broke apart with the male on top. Nyphadora was weaker than he was, having a pup to take care of took most of her food or she would be stronger. She placed her back legs on his stomach and pushed him off of her so she could jump ONTOP of him and try to get a lock on his neck. Zara She whined in fear when the large dog had turned on her, she was sure she would be dead. That was until her sister had plowed him away from her. She watched them roll and watched some blood fly, some from her sister and some from their attacker. Fear was coursing through her small body before she could no longer watch her sister fight for both of their lives, she ran inside the abandoned hotel. 0 players like this post! Like? |

ش dogmeat: park شcipher had leaped up and head off, catching the attention of dogmeat for mere moments. what a weird dog. maybe he went to go get something- or someone, to bring back. like before, the brindle lay in wait. he pawed at the ground aimlessly, unsure of what to do now. should he go look around? what if canary ran off while he was gone? it was safer to loiter around here, than go off and be a sitting duck in strange territory. it was too warm to go anywhere anyways, besides to the shade of the group of trees nearby. ち canary: hotel ちwith a wheeze and a hack, he coughed up a brittle bone and leaped back to his paws. it had been quiet here lately, no visitors or anything. if nobody was going to come, he'd get dogs himself. spirits and tail high, canary scampered off without a word in the direction of the abandoned hotel. sure, it wasnt in their territory, but with all the markers they set, no one in their right mind would set a paw in it! maybe that was why there werent any visitors. ten or so long strides later, and he reached the destination. it was more.. violent than he remembered. a skirmish appeared to be taking place outside of the building, so he kept his distance. for now. when this was resolved, he would begin forward once more, and begin the recruiting process. probably with something like, "hey! you two look pretty beat up!" ⇞ cipher: alleyway ⇞cipher bore his fangs at another of his kind, this one much tanner than he. "what exactly are you doing here," the doberman began, proceeding warily towards hazza. from past experience, he had come to the conclusion that all strays, if they didn't immediately become submissive, were unpredictable. this kept him on his toes. "this place doesn't belong to you." the warmth of the alley seeped into his paws, but he didnt react. he simply stood, cropped ears straight up, tail rigid. if the other dog made an attack, he would be ready. the light glinting off cipher's eyes and pelt made the cur glow gently. dont misunderstand! he was in no way, shape, or form completely healthy- no dog was. but he wasnt as much of an emaciated, flea-ridden mongrel as most of the others. this made him think that he was better, or stronger than most. he couldnt believe otherwise, it would tear him to pieces. 0 players like this post! Hazza/ 3 yrs. 10 m./ Doberman The lanky black and tan dog flashed his white fangs in a silent snarl, muscles rigid beneath his pelt as he stood in the shadows. The words from the other male had his hackles raising, and his ears lowered as he bit back a snap of his jaw. "What do you mean?" he asked, taking a step forward to show the other male he was unafraid. Fortunately, this male could run on pure adrenaline. Unfortunately, those adrenaline rushes were most likely going to be the death of him. In fight or flight the dog might just take a chance this time and skirt the dumpster and leave this place as fast as he could. "This place is mine. My mark is at the front of the alley. Any dog with a nose could smell it," he growled lowly. 0 players like this post! Like? Edited on 15/06/15 by West (#43497) |

((So I'm realizing now I am absolutely terrible at writing intros.)) Aspen A skinny blue-brindle dog slunk along a wide street cautiously, making sure to hide behind the strange transportation devices the humans had left behind whenever he saw one. Aspen would rather not be caught out in the open like this thank you very much, but hunger had driven him away from his cage at the abandoned race tracks. Dogs seemed to avoid that place much to his relief. Perhaps they could sense all the suffering that went on in such a place. Where dogs were treated as a way to make profit and not much else. A sudden sharp squeaking noise caught his attention and he spotted a large brown rat not too far from his position. He hesitated for a moment, knowing rats could be carriers for disease, but his stomach grumbled harshly reminding him he didn't have much of a choice. He glanced around the car he'd been crouching beside to make sure he was alone and then darted after the rat. He was a swift dog, but not nearly as fast as he used to be between his torn up paws and lack of sustaining food. Most of the time he picked through garbage and ate what he could find. The rat gave a shriek of alarm and turned into an alley, likely looking for a small space to escape into, but Aspen was quicker. Snatching up the creature and shaking it so hard it's neck snapped. His scarred tail gave a triumphant wag. He'd finally caught his own prey! Then he froze, realizing he hadn't been watching to see if he'd been followed or if anyone happened to be in this particular alley. Being a Greyhound, he probably already looked frail to other dogs. Half-starved he must appear an even easier target. He glanced around the alley with wide brown eyes. Was he alone? Drill Drill pushed open the door to his former home, only his head visible from the doorway as he observed the street in front of the raggedy old house. His cropped ears stood erect, alert for any noises. For now the place was empty. For a street dog he looked rather well maintained. Nowhere near as starved as most of the other dogs in this place. Though the reasons for this could be considered quite nefarious. Drill hadn't had much issue feasting on the carcasses of his dead owners or the other dogs who had refused to do so and thus expired themselves. Once the humans were gone he'd eaten them too. Their loyalty had been blind. These humans had never seen them as anything but pup-making machines. Drill had never known a touch of kindness from any man and only his mother had ever shown him love. Her death had truly saddened him and he'd ripped his paws raw digging a hole for her, burying her properly. His mother was not for eating. He'd killed an older male who tried to make that much clear. The dogs had no choice but to fight among themselves, eating whoever didn't survive. Then only Drill was left and after weeks of pushing and digging at the front door it had finally opened. He'd been out and about a few times since then, but always returned to the house. It was the only home he'd ever known after all. Until now. He'd ate everything that could be eaten from this place. It was time to move on and find prey elsewhere now. Real prey. He strolled out into the streets confidently, seeing no need to sneak around or stay hidden. He was strong and fierce. Other dogs scurried out of the way if they saw him. He had nothing to fear and so long as the others didn't bother him or have something he wanted they would have nothing to fear of him either. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Click Click Click Thats all that was heard as a large, but skinny as hell, dog made her way down the pavement. Out in the open unlike the others that hid in the shadows. Scars hidden under her thick fur which also hid her ribs and and bones from view. Giving her the appearence of a well fed mutt. She held herself unusually high, much like a royal would when walking in front of a crowd. Her merle ears lifted as a scurrying sounded in the alley to her left. The clicking of her overgrown claws stopped as her forward motion halted as well. In the darkness it seemed either a small pup or large rat was gnawing on something. Perfect time to strike she thought as the fae turned a sharp left and melted into the darkness. Squeals soon sounded before they were silenced, the rodent making a meal for the starving mutt. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Toby|Open After traveling around with the small Welsh Corgi, Shorty, Toby has finally found them a small meal of a couple of birds. He lays curled up with the smaller dog, tearing into the skinny bird. ---------------- ShortCake|Open She yawns. They've been traveling around on their own for awhile now. But, it's not like she's ever going to question Toby. That would be a bad decision. The little Corgi kept her eyes on the area around them, looking for rogue dogs. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Cayenne Cayenne finally came to the spot where she heard the small barks, and she approached the small dog warily, as she could see another dog there as well. She slowly walked up to the dogs, and let her tongue loll out the side of her mouth, but continued to assess and stayed alert. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Toby|Open|Packless >> His ears perk at the sound of Deadpool's howl. It sounds too close for comfort. The dog rises up and lets out his own howl, warning Get away from here. --------------------- ShortCake|Open|Packless >> She watches Toby curiously before wandering off a few feet to sniff out some more food. 0 players like this post! Cayenne Hearing more howls, Cayenne stops and bristles. The two howls sounded farther away, but that doesn't mean that the howls didn't come from friends of these two dogs, or from enemies for that matter, and decides to tilt back her head and let out a fierce howl. "If you aren't a friend, beware..." 0 players like this post! Like? |
