Drill was beginning to panic, feeling the mastiff's teeth sink into his neck harder. He heard Zara's bark, seeing a blur of black and tan fur out of the corner of his eye. "No, run!" he choked, not wanting her involved. If she got hurt trying to defend him he would never forgive himself. As it was, the mastiff just chuckled darkly as if he found the young Doberman's attempts amusing. He ignored Zara despite the pain in his ear, clamping down harder on Drill's neck until he could taste blood. Facing the ground, Drill couldn't even lash out with his own fangs or claws. He couldn't believe he'd let himself become this helpless!

A savage bark that somehow sounded a bit familiar rang through his head as his vision began turning black. A moment later the mastiff suddenly released him, letting Drill drop to the ground. Another dog had leaped onto the mastiff's back and was tearing at his neck with lethal fangs. Fairly spooked, the mastiff bucked the brute off and took off as the other male landed neatly a few inches away. Drill coughed heavily, sucking in air as he scrambled back to his paws, staring at the new dog in disbelief. He was a tall, harlequin male with a scarred pelt and amber eyes. "Calamity?" He asked, sounding a bit incredulous. The dog merely nodded in return and Drill snorted. Figured all he had to do was mention his name and here he was.

Turning back to Zara he looked her over in concern. "Are you alright? Did the mastiff hurt you?" He asked fretfully.

Timber | Femae | GSD/Husky Mix | 4 Years

It felt like forever before they actually reached the apartment complex and she gave a sigh of relief once Lucifer led the way in. Half-dragging the bag up the steps, she dropped it in the same room the other food had been left in. Plopping to the floor and panting. "So this is the new place huh? It's quite the improvement."

He nearly rammed into a tree as Paradox popped the question. Eyes growing curious and flitting to Nyphadora, "Or is it from months of caring for the little beast." He merely replied to the other two brutes. His ears lifting as the sound of rushing water, "River already?!" He barked and picked up his pace with a wagging tail. Almost forgetting about Paradox on his back, moving ahead of the others he slammed to a stop just before the bank and felt the smaller male fly from his back and into the river. "Para?!" He broke out into laughter.

Zara | Female | Doberman | 10 Months Old |

She was thrown off as yet another male came through and jumped on the Mastiff. The force of the new dog threw the pup off and into a puddle. She whimpered as her paw twisted and her bottom half was soaked. She watched again in horror as the larger and older male was ripping into the mastiff. Her eyes widened and her body shrank back into the puddle. Her small body got smaller. When the mastiff ran off she stayed where she was, staring at the male. When Drill came over, her eyes were still on this male Calamity....she thought she heard Drill say.

He chuckled at both Daemon and Phantom. He only caught wind of Daemon's words as he clung to the brute and bounced as he picked up the pace. Unexpectedly, he was thrown into the air and could only yelp before cold water hit him like a brick and sucked his breath. He couldn't swim and struck out his paws in the water and started to splash.

He ran out and jumped inside the river, he walked to Paradox, the small dog couldn't touch the bottom. He quickly ducked his head down and was able to grab his scruff. He hauled the small dog up, and moved to the shore where Nyphadora was frantically waiting. He chuckled as he sat the small soaking wet dog down, then grabbed Daemon's scruff and pulled him in the river, laughing really hard as both the brute's fur was clinging to them and getting in their eyes.

Nyphadora | Female | Doberman | 3 Years Old |

She was pacing back and forth, frantically waiting for Paradox to be brought to shore. When he was sat down, she started to lick him clean, making sure he wasn't hurt. She glared at both the males as they continued to play. "Oh and I am NOT Pregnant!" she barked "I have Zara, I don't need any pups" Although Zara wouldn't be a pup for long.

He snorted as the male didnt know how to swim, "Dude you gotta--" Before he finished he was drug into the river and water splashed on shore soaking Nyphadora. He chuckled as his fur got into his eyes and he reared up and slamming down in the direction he thought Phantom was in. Shaking his head, luckily parting his fur away from his eyes, he ran towards the male, water splashing everywhere as he bounded through the water and looked like he was gonna jump onto Phantom. Instead jumping into his side and sending both males crashing into the water as he laughed harder.

He glared at the brutes, when he felt Nyphadora's tongue swipe across his head, he sighed. Then moved out of her way. He growled and jumped onto Daemon's side as the two brutes collided. Being careful to nip at their ears and laughing as it exhilarated him. He chuckled and began to keep nipping at them both.

She yelped as the cold water hit her side, she shook herself and laughed as she watched the males play around. She laid down on her belly and crossed her front legs over one another. (Short)

Phantom | Male | Caucasian Ovtcharka | 3 years old|

He laughed and grunted in surprise as Daemon jumped into him instead of on him. He shook his head numerous times so that he could see, which was futile since the brute had so much. He kept feeling like he was being nipped:
"Daemon! You wussy! stop nipping me!" he chuckled and twisted underneath the other brute, his soaked hair going everywhere.

He chuckled as something hit his side, feeling small paws he knew who it was. Twisting and grabbing Paradox he jumped into the water again and swam till he felt the bank slam against his chest. Heaving upwards he managed to get the smaller dog safely up as his tail swung in the river sending waves and water spirling everywhere. "It wasnt me." He barked returning to his friend and feeling his fur flop in front of his face again. Ignoring it, his doggy smile was obvious as he splashed and jumped around, the water cleaning gunk from their pelts as they splashed around.

Drill grabbed Zara by the scruff gently, pulling her out of the puddle. Since she hadn't answered he looked her over himself, disregarding Calamity for the time-being. He licked at her wet fur, cleaning her off and forcing himself to ignore the acrid taste of dirty water. "Are you ok Zara?" He repeated worriedly. He could sense Calamity stepping closer behind him and whirled around defensively, showing his teeth. "Stay where you are!" He snapped. Father or not, he didn't trust this dog.

"Now now, is that any way to treat your kin?" Calamity scolded lightly, but didn't move to come any closer. He hadn't helped the pair out of the goodness of his heart. The scarred brute had simply been bored. It had turned out to be a surprise that one of the dogs had ended up being his own son. "Who's this?" He asked, nodding his head toward Zara. "Your lady? I never expected to see runty little Drill with a mate," he teased, watching as the younger dog squirmed in embarrassment. "She's my friend!" He snapped back and Calamity merely laughed. "That's how it always starts."

Timber | Female | GSD/Husky Mix | 4 Years

Timber woofed in agreement, resting on the floor for awhile. Her gaze drifted back to Lucifer and she hesitated for a moment before speaking up again. "You said before you were looking for new packmates... Is that offer still open? I know we didn't get off to the best start, but I think I've proven I can be useful to you both." Timber was glad the pup had managed to escape, but she found she had no urge to leave herself.

Croatoan twitched his ears as Timber spoke, he almost didn't want the shepherd mix to leave, she was a formidable fighter, and the two of them got along pretty okay, for her being a prisoner. He turned his broad head to Lucifer "I think we should consider her offer."

"I wouldnt let you leave if you wanted to Timber." She said with a sigh as she flopped down on the marble flooring. "Your to good an asset to just up and leave. We need the paws as well." Her voice gained back it's normal tone but she seemed a bit lighter after leaving her old home where she had to act like she was to keep her position as top dog.

The fluffy-coated female took a few steps back as Aspen removed himself from the food storage area, her nose twitching as she took in the scents of the food they'd managed to find. Misha herself had even grabbed a few cans, knowing she could work them open if she wanted to. Glancing around, she paused. Whisper was still by the door, but she had three other able-bodied dogs here, besides her brother and herself. "We're going to need to find stuff to carry some of this food in after we eat. We have two pack-mates at the edge of the city," she told the two other females and the pup who was busy gnawing on his hot-dog. Picking up the ripped package, she shook it so the food came spilling out and nudged a few pieces of meat towards each of the dogs, only taking one for herself. They could rip open another package or something when they all finished this.

"I think I twisted my paw" she looked at him. She looked at Calamity and narrowed her eyes "Who are you?" she asked. She was greatly pissed off by the fact that Calamity kept calling Drill his 'lady'. She snarled at him, an actual snarl and stood up. She shook herself and Drill off of her and stared him down. She was pissed and he was not intimidating anymore. She was sure that her sister would come by any minute and whoop his tail. She was sure that he wouldn't lay a paw on her.

She laughed at them all, Paradox for tussling with two dogs more than 10x his size, and the brutes who were both funny looking and gorgeous at the same time. She chuckled again and laid her head down on her paws. She watched the two brutes while thoughts of their earlier conversation were up in her mind. She smiled in content as she watched them play, like pups. Their fur flopping and flying everywhere, she snorted in disgust as globs of hair were flowing up to shore.

He nipped Daemon's ear as he carried him back to shore. He chuckled and made his way to Nyphadora. He was there when she had to kill her first mate, so he knew her requirements:
"Have you ever thought about getting a new one?" he looked at her, knowing where her thoughts were as if she was a part of him. After Her first mate Ghost had betrayed them, their alpha had ordered Ny to kill him....which she did without hesitation. Although he and the boys had been there to witness the aftermath.

He jumped around with Daemon, allowing his inner puppy to show through. He laughed as he pounced at a couple fish who quickly swam away from the tough and slow dog. He jumped straight into Daemon and promptly slipped and went underwater, he blew bubbles up, but the water moved the hair out of his face so he could see and he came back up with his eyes wide and his grin huge.

Globs of hair washed out of his pelt, making him feel lighter and happier. The water was cool against his formerly hot and stuffy pelt. He laughed as Phantom slipped when he did. Both falling under again and popping up above water, the fur slicked back on his head and out of his eyes. "Yipee!" He woofed and leaped at his best friend with a happy smile. The giant Georgian Shepherd's tail swinging back and forth happily. Jumping onto shore and shaking off right beside Paradox and Nyphadora sending went hair and water everywhere. "Phantom, we should go." He chuckled, finally remembering the task at hand. Looking around and jumping into the water and swimming to the side they needed to be on.

She was quite rattled by Paradox's question, she hadn't thought about it ever since it happened. She was just about to reply when Daemon shook himself and sent a glob of hair on her nose. "Ugh! Daemon!" She jumped up and away from the wet brute. She shook herself repeating "Ew!" and scowling. She huffed and looked at Paradox, she slipped into the water and waited for the dog to jump on her back. When he did, she struggled just a little as she swam across. Her back still really sore and really easy to tear open.

He jumped onto Nyphadora's back, careful with her back. He called for Phantom who quickly came over and allowed him on his back. "Think about it Ny" he said. He had a boyfriend once, but it didn't really work out since he was 5x his size and that he was a brute whereas Paradox was a scout. (Short)

He saw Nyphadora was struggling just a bit, and he went over as Paradox called for him. He felt much much MUCH better now that most of his fur had been rooted out, his body was now cool instead of steaming hot and his own fur was more silky than rough. He looked after Daemon and chuckled "Since Paradox brought up the conversation about mates, have you seen Fang anywhere Daemon?" he chuckled, mentioning a female who was interested in Daemon.
