 Hello Role Play Community!Meet Piper, otherwise known as Cinerescent, your friendly neighbourhood admin! An admin for the site you'll be looking into, anyway. ;) About the Site -The site was created on December 17th, 2012, by our amazing founder and head admin, Youssarian! It's thanks to his hard work and dedication to the site that it's even still standing, and he's pretty much the backbone of the whole operation. xD -This is a branch-off Wikia site. I'm sure quite a few of us are familiar with these. :3 Because of this, the site has a built-in chat, where role plays are typically done. If the main chat is on the fritz, we also have a chatango one set up just in case. -The site has over 500 pages! Holy cow! These include wolf bios, pack bios, an art page, and many freaking more. xD It's a huge site with a ton of work put into it! About the Staff Founder/Admin: Youssarian | Commonly known as "Youss." Admin: Foa lan | Commonly known as "Foa." Admin: Cinerescent | Commonly known as "Cin" ------------------ These two, along with myself, are the ones who maintain and enforce the rules, make dramatic changes to the site, and save any information in the Roleplay Archives. There are several other members, though we are typically the most active. Everyone has the potential to be an editor, but there is no obligation to do so, and it's probably better not to mess with anything unless you know what you're doing. :) Methods can be taught, however, so if you wish to edit and need some assistance, feel free to ask. As quoted by Foa, we are a group of "good, slightly psychopathic people." So... -Why am I here if there's so many people on the site? WELL. Those so many people are perhaps not so many people right now, and we are just trying to pull ourselves out of a rut of inactivity! -Like I said earlier, Youss is pretty much the backbone of the community. Sooo, when he gets busy with school... the site dies. D: Not only do we need to bulk up in numbers, but we also should try to build a community that doesn't depend on one person! -For forever, our main source of members have come from Wolf Quest. Which is neither the best place to look, nor the best place to find people that even understand the concept of "realistic role play." Having been on Lioden for a year and a half at this point, many lovely people have come my way, and it is at this point that I'm getting into the role play community. There's so much potential here, and we really need to tap into it. x3 About Our Role Play -This is a site completely dedicated to realistic wolf rp! -"This is realistic wolf behaviour only! Act like a wild wolf would in real life. No unrealistic thought process, talking, or taking down an elk by yourself." - Youss's "Role Play Rules" from recruiting on WQ -The Role Play Guidelines and Rules, which will be added below, (also located on the site) will expand on these thoughts greatly. Extra, Important Junk You Should Know -There is both a test and trial period! -Most wolves on the site are pre-made! You will adopt one from EACH PACK (if there is a wolf available) and role play them! Their personalities, history, photos, etc. cannot be edited by you without an admin's permission! If you stick around, you may be allowed to make your own wolf! (this process is to cut down the amount of personally-designed wolves abandoned by new members) -Right now, we're not as active as we should be, so you may not be able to immediately be accepted. (I need to discuss potential members with my fellow admins) -It may also be a challenge in the beginning to meet people on the site once you join! This will hopefully be fixed soon, however, as I will be trying to get on as often as I can afford. Foa can be messaged at any time through her Message Wall, and she will usually show up in the chat if asked. -If you have any further questions, or anything you think I should add to the thread, TELL ME! Most wolves have a history. Some, more bloody than others. And of them all, this wolf's history was likely the bloodiest. She was a massive wolf by all standards - she stood a great deal taller than any other fae, and rivaled most brutes. Her coat was an average color - Black as ebony. But if you looked hard enough, you could see her trademark - her "death scar". It was a blow that should have meant her death. A blow given to her by her father - whom she killed shortly after. From that moment, her mother deserted her. And she wandered the tundra, joining warrior packs - as their most valued warrior. She bore her death scar proudly - it ran from the center of her chest and crossed her heart. But it rarely showed unless the wind happened to toss her fur just right. She earned a reputation - and a name to fit it well. Wolves that knew her, or had heard her history, called her "Demon". And in truth, if you dared to look deep into her ebony orbs, you saw it - her history of fight, blood, and death. But however vicious she seemed - she fought with honor. Never fighting an unwilling opponent, but always coming out the victor. She was an asset to any pack that dared to have her in their midst. The Demon would roam, hunt, and kill when needed. She was wise, cunning, strong, fast - the epitemy of wolven society and ability. She was feared by all, hated by some, and sought after by all packs. She carried herself boldly, with guts and tenacity greater than any alpha. And the alphas never questioned her rights as such. They respected and feared this wolf called Demon. And with good reason. So dare you question her age-old authority? Dare you challenge the unbeaten Demon? We shall see. You shall see. For the Demon - she already sees you. Her name you seek? For that, my friend, be wary. For many have asked - and few have survived the answer. For her name is not merely her own - she shares it with one even more brutal than herself. She shares it with her evil father - The dark and brutal alpha of a pack of canibalistic warrior wolves. So you make the choice - ask, or flee? {My most notable failures when writing is the overuse of commas and switching tenses. Please tell me about the tense switch because my brain does not seem to realize that it is a bad habit. As for commas.... Try your best to reform me....I think it is a lost cause.} The female wolf was slate gray from the top of her muzzle to the tip of her tail. Stormy gray eyes roving over the landscape in search of her fellow pack mates or any possible predators, the gray female sent out a howl, but no howl was returned and she lowered her head in response to the silence, ears drooping. Her stomach started growling once again and the female let out a keening whine, lonely and hungry without fellow packmates to socialize and hunt with. A flash of brown fur was seen from the corner of her eye and the female was off in pursuit of the hair in a instant, dodging left and right but gaining no ground as her meal got closer to safety with every second. The gray female jumped into the air landing on the burrow the male hare had fled down, digging with all speed and succeeding in finding the meal by skill aided by a big dose of pure luck. The gray-eyed female clamped her jaws around her prize, lying down immediately and ripping chunks of meat from her dinner. It would prolong her survival giving her the chance to find the pack she had been separated from, without packmates though and with spring coming to an end, the female’s chances at survival were becoming smaller with every second that ticked by despite her apparently constant dose of luck. 0 players like this post! ( I must admit I have not done a Wolf Roleplay in decades, or matter of months. I've been seeking more realism than semi-literate. This truly does strike me fancy, and I hope I can become apart of this economy. Critiques are greatly welcome, rusty I am. ) Bones protruded evidently from the sloughing skin of ginger and brown, casting the vague appearance of starvation and near death. An outcast this female was, her abdomen distended barely towards the crisp, leaf-littered earth. Dark brown eyes seemed filled with distress and turmoil as her posture matched the ongoing trial of survival. For the first time in her young life, Tails was evicted after being caught red handed for mating with a roving male. How was this female to survive? She could barely keep herself in operating condition, as her unborn pups were literally sucking the life out of her with each passing day. The day seemed dark, foreshadowing that death would soon take her to the grave. Tails remained on the outskirts of her former pack's territory, resting wherever shelter could be found. And here she was laying belly first on the cold bare ground with her back against a thick oak tree, its leaves were bare from the frost and did not have the chance to erupt again. Discomfort seemed obvious with her constant shifting of paws and the reluctance to actually remain still. Her flanks flustered with increased respiratory effort, highlighting her emerging ribs even more profoundly. A whine escaped from her maw, with erect ears now softening into a backwards lay. Time was against her now, her water broken prematurely and contractions had begun. ~ Skip ~ The day had passed and set forth a new. The howls of her pack grew in proximal range which took her attention into more favorable interest. Her energy reserves were low giving her little strength to flee or defend. The scent of birth was heavy and open yet tiny lifeforms were not visible. Using her radar-like ears to locate the main source of the howl, Tails slowly and surely began to make her way to them with her head low and tail tucked so far beneath her mass it almost disappeared. Her only chance of survival was to rejoin the pack now that her pregnancy was terminated, not caring for a litter. The ginger-pelted female disappeared in the distance, leaving the scene to portray her birth place..
