Personality: Kane is a rebellious and adventurous young man. He grew up with the ability to chose his own destiny, and that's exactly what he intends to do; live a life of freedom. He has an issue with authority, and doesn't do well under the cold hand of the law. His habit of living by his own rules has often kept him out of places that seem to require them, and he often sticks to the wilderness because of that. In social situations, Kane tends to step over many lines, as he heavily dislikes small talk. He's sarcastic, and is an asshole to people he dislikes. He is not arrogant, however, and is a humble man by nature. Kane has a strong sense or morality, and sees himself as someone who must work for the weaker man (hence his dislike for the law, as he deems it corrupt). He isn't afraid to break the rules for a good cause. He is also a heavily protective person.
While not quite scholarly, Kane is very skilled at living in the wild. He can hunt well, and fend for himself in a fight (he isn't afraid to pick fights, either). Often, Kane can be more comfortable with using his fist than his words. However, his reckless nature can sometimes border dangerous, for himself and others.

History: Kane is a traveller by heart and blood. He comes from a nomadic family, who journeyed to the land from a much colder place in the north. His parents taught him everything he needed to know about living off of the land, often with only what he could carry. Having been told stories of dragons since he was a young child, Kane left his family behind in search of the dragons he knew were in captivity, with the intention of freeing them.

Kane is a well-built young man of average height. He has pale skin and strong features, with light hazel eyes set beneath dark brows. His hair is cropped and tousled, starting out blonde and fading to a medium brown towards the nape of his neck. His most distinguished features are his tattoos, one across the bridge of his nose, that spreads along either cheekbone, as well as a symbol on his shoulder, and some more down his arms and on his torso. He typically dresses in traveling clothes, and is often armed with an array of weapons and light carrying bags.
