Hello mighty lions!

We've had a very busy week here at Lioden Headquarters, and we've been able to bring you a huge list of bug fixes, along with a much-needed update to hunting, a fun contest (yes, we're actually having a contest!), and some more goodies for you! Let's break this down so we can easily see what's been going on this week!

Bugs Fixed

First of all, we've spent a long time rolling on some pending bugs, and we've compiled a list of everything we've done.


- Black Herons Pounce button in explore is now working.
- Little Egret "Follow" option now tells you the correct items you receive.
- The karma reveal text for killing the Okapi in explore now tells you the correct amount.
- Buffalo should count towards hooved prey quests now.
- Bookmarking wardrobe URLs should work now - you will need to re-bookmark them though.
- Using amusement items now orders lions in order of lowest mood first.
- Frozen Cubs are no longer able to be transferred.
- Trade search pages should now link correctly.
- "Below" decors are now removable.
- Maneless mutation now appears in trade search.
- Searching manes in lion search now works across the different pages.
- The account option "Show Pregnancy Visuals" now has an "Enabled/Disabled" option instead of a checkbox for clarification.
- Tidied "Your Forum Activity" - the replies section of the page was still using the old styling.
- Auto-Breeding should no longer take SB when the breeding is unsuccessful because of an error (no territory space, etc).
- Auto-Breeding is now disabled for lionesses with Black Stallion active (as it's rendered irrelevant).
- Retiring your male should no longer cause his background to disappear entirely if it had 0 uses left - it will now revert back to the default background.
- Items with 0 uses should now no longer appear in your inventory, to then show you the "Invalid item" error. (Hopefully.)
- Frozen lionesses should now have no other icons on your Den page than the Frozen icon.
- Frozen lionesses should no longer go into heat, or have any other interaction that a normal lioness would.
- Frozen lionesses will no longer appear on hunting lists.
- Frozen lionesses will no longer count towards your total lionesses.
- Pregnant lionesses should no longer leave your den until after they've given birth. Please be aware that if you don't keep them fed they may have stillbirths though. (The stillbirth feature has always been in game and is not a new addition.) If you neglect your female lioness, you will still get warnings about her, and as soon as she gives birth, she will leave. So be careful and take care of your ladies!

There may be some other bugs that we've fixed in passing and not noted down though, so keep an eye out for those too!

Hunting Update

An update for hunting has now been implemented! We have changed the way you set your lionesses on the Hunting Grounds so that you don't have to reload the page. It's now the same as patrolling - you select the location tiles you want your lionesses to hunt, select the lionesses you want to send, and then send them! There may be some existing bugs, but please report any that you see and we'll try to catch them over the weekend to make everything smooth.

World Lion Day Contest!!

We are holding a contest for World Lion Day!

Create Lioden in real life! You can do this in any way you want - pick a scene that you want to create in real life (say.. the Dry Lake with a feisty Lion opponent). You can then do anything from drawing a picture, to setting up a scene outside with a toy lion and some twigs and leaves, to baking a cake with the scene on top.. anything is possible! Then, what we want you to do, is tweet us a picture of your creation to @LiodenGame with the tag #LiodenIRL or post the picture on our wall on our Facebook Page!

We will pick a winner, and 5 runner ups! The winner will receive 50GB and this beautiful sculpture:


5 runner ups will receive 10GB each!

The entry deadline is the 9th August so that we can draw the results for the 10th - World Lion Day!
