Hello, welcome to this lovely contest! I've been searching for a while for a new OC, but all of my searches have been in vain ;w; Thus, I turn to this, my final option! The design me an OC contest!

To keep it relatively simple and organized, I'm splitting the contest entries into two categories! Those will be explained in detail below. The main thing you need to know about this is that there's one winner and one runner up for each category, giving us a total of four places!

Now, onto the categories!

VERY IMPORTANT NOTE!!!
You can submit up to two entries! However, you cannot submit one in category one and the other in category two, as I'd like to keep this fair and not have one person win both categories xD This being said, you cannot win both first and second place in one category.

Category One

In this category, I'm looking for a partner OC to go along with Huang Jin! He is a dragon/koi/wolf creature, so I'm looking for something of a similar combination!

WHAT I'M LOOKING FOR
- a combination of dragon, aquatic creature, and mammal
- I'd love one who has a similar body shape to Huang Jin. Maybe a little like a Chinese dragon.
- I love angler fish, sharks, and koi fish, but I really just love fish in general! Feel free to use any kind of fish!
- I'm looking for something that's either part feline or canine.
- I usually prefer natural colors, but if you use a colorful fish, feel free to use flashy colors!
- Originality is a big deal here. I'm looking for a friend of Huang Jin, not a brother or sister.

WHAT I'M NOT LOOKING FOR
- overly flashy colors - highlights of bright colors or a little touch here and there are okay but don't go overboard

Category Two
In this category, I'm looking for a unique four-legged creature! For example, something similar to Detri or Requin!

WHAT I'M LOOKING FOR
- wolves, foxes, and big cats are high up on my favorites list, but I also like things like sharks, antelope, and buffalo! Feel free to combine any of those animals or any other animals of your choosing!
- horns, antlers, hooves
- feathers, wings
- again, originality

WHAT I'M NOT LOOKING FOR
- anthros are a no go in this contest
- again, overly flashy colors are also a no go
- not really a fan of horse-like creatures, though I do like animals with hooves
- mythical creatures like the pegasus or unicorn! Meaning, don't just post a picture of a unicorn and say, "This is my entry."
