I encountered this issue once, but now it's happened to me again, so I decided to make this a proper suggestion. Private trades are great and all, but I feel there's something missing in them: who's each trade meant for. Most of the time you have the member id by hand, but if it passes some time, or if you -like me- are setting different trades for different users, e.g. when an auction expires, it can become quite a mess. My suggestion is basically adding the receiving member id in private trades, both in the 'manage your trades' page and in the trades themselves. |

You can always use a lioness' name to label it, yet they included titles to do so, even when you can check the lioness anytime in case you forgot to. If you set an unlabelled trade and forget who it was for, then it's done. It's a matter of convenience. ![]() Edited on 18/08/15 by Draconifors (#47584) |

I agree entirely. It's a pain to send a ton of trades, then forget who exactly the trade was for, especially if they're taking several days/weeks to accept. It's hard to send a PM to remind them about it, if you can't figure out who it was for. Supported! ![]() |

I don't get it. You can always put "trade for so and so" and what specific to why or what you're putting up for trade. ![]() |

It would also be nice if private trades were visually different from regular trades. Maybe even just a different border and the words: This trade is visible only to yourself and #XXX somewhere in the table. Currently, there is no way to tell between regular trades and private trades. There are also instances in which a user thought a trade was set to private and was not. This should help alleviate that. Also, maybe a 'send this member a private trade!' option could be useful? This will be found on other users' den pages, beside 'Send this member a gift!' This option opens up the create a trade page, but with the user's ID number already inputted. ![]() Edited on 04/11/15 @ 20:52:34 by Quicksilver II (#9924) |
