Makeera//Alpha female//3 yrs 1 month "Ah, no, I have nothing else to do, you aren't bothering me. And it's fine, Raven. Though it is an honor to meet you, Saran." Makeera replied, bowing her head, even though this wolf was of a lower rank. "Well, you can get something to eat if you like. I'll go back to the healer's den, I often spend my time there." she offered, then padded away. She went into the healer's den like she said she would, and curled up onto a moss bed. She then fell asleep. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Nova | 4 Years,6 months | Female Healer | Single Nova slowly awakened from her slumber fully rested in the four hours of sleep she had gained. Living with Romak then becoming a loner and finally a healer trained Nova’s body to utilize any rest she could get in the shortest amount of time. It was mid afternoon now, with the weak September sun filtering lazily into her hidden clearing and a cold wind coming from the north rustling the colorful forest leaves. Sniffing the air, Nova knew she would not be surprised if an early and hard winter fell upon the pack. The predators of the forest had been desperate lately with two cougar sightings within this week alone. Stretching like a cat, Nova let out an explosive yawn that showed all of her sharp teeth, knowing that it was time to get back to work once again and address the many things that she had not confronted after finishing the surgery. Nova had decided to leave and take a nap because she had not slept for two days and had been exhausted after dealing with most of the pack’s wounds. It was extremely dangerous for a healer wolf to be tired, for even the most experienced healers could make a mistake when the very hairs on their backs felt as heavy as a tree. Looking around Nova knew her star-speckled onyx pelt was painfully obvious against the colorful background of September. Twitching her black tufted ears Nova started out in a fast trot climbing the boulders that surrounded her clearing with cat-like speed and grace. Using her first power the stars on Nova’s pelt grew brighter as they sucked in some of the light within a ten foot radius making the the colors of the trees dimmer and making it easier for Nova’s coat to blend in with its surroundings. Ro, who had stood a silent vigil while Nova was sleeping, now followed her sometimes giving out a caw of enjoyment for fall was one of the magpie’s favorite seasons. As she padded silently through the forest Nova went over some of the things she needed to do when she returned. The first on her list was to get that brute Rahese healed, the stubborn headed wolf had insisted that his wound was only superficial which Nova sincerely doubted since it had bled most of yesterday, through the night and into today. The healer sincerely wished that the time she had been gone would make Rahese realize that he was injured and the more time he did not let her tend to the wound the worse the wound would get until he suffered the indignity of passing out entirely, probably in front of the pack which would surely horrify the proud wolf to no end. There was also Connie who had hopefully returned to the medic den and wasn’t still wandering around outside pushing the splinters in her paws deeper with every step. Finally there was that adolescent pup that had been looking at all the herbs and what Nova had been doing with fascination. Though the adol probably thought he had not been seen within the clutter and noise of the healer den he would be wrong in that assumption. The training with her mentor, her time as a loner, a prisoner and finally a wolf, fighting her way up the ranks had ingrained an almost paranoid alertness in the small wolf and Nova was almost always aware of her surroundings. Those three tasks were the first on Nova’s list...after she got something to fill her growling stomach and drank from the special pool in order to keep her second power. Not yet wanting to approach any wolves Nova silently bent the light in her making her invisible to a wolf’s unpowered eye. Entering the pack area Nova grabbed a hare after taking a refreshing drink of the glowing waters next to the alpha’s den knowing that some of the more alert wolves would no doubt be extremely puzzled when they smelled her but could not see her. Hopefully it will creep them all out and remind them of my mysterious reputation,, Nova thought with silent humor. As she left the clearing once again with the hare in her mouth following Rahese’s sent Nova took notice of the a elder of the pack Bascules ahead of her releasing her power over the light Nova trotted up beside the old wolf giving him a silent nod of respect and no little relief. Though Nova was not afraid of a confrontation with Rahese and would actually quite enjoy teasing the stubborn wolf she did not have the time to convince him that he was indeed very badly injured and should let her patch up his wound before he went off chasing the enemies of the pack. His father would no doubt hold the authority and perhaps even respect that Rahese showed so few wolves….Hopefully. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Bascules/ Gamma Male/ 9 Years He could feel the hostility roll of the pup in waves. But the old male couldn't blame the warrior in the slightest. Bascules nearly smiled at the sight of Rahese standing so tall before him, ears pricked forward and hiding his pain. But that was not his concern now. Shacking off his fond thoughts the greying wolf stepped closer, not deterred by the good few inches of height Rahese held over him. "I expect you to watch your tone, pup." heavily emphasizing the last word. He was known for giving everyone an earful and he would continue to do so until these pups didn't seem to need it. For the time being it seemed like a distant future event. When that time came he would work on the bridges he had burned. For a swift, fleeting moment the old wolfs eyes softened as he saw visions of a younger Rahese running around his paws, growling at butterfly's as if they were cougars. The images were gone as soon as they came and his eyes returned to the here and now. "I may be old but you wont leave any fight with me without a few injures of your own." Letting a growl slip into his own words and his eyes and ears do a quick scan, Bascules settled down onto his belly. "But I did not come to squabble.... we must talk of your roll in the packs instability" Try as he might the elder couldn't keep the tone of blame that slipped into his voice. It would be a tiresome talk and he was ready to get as good as he got. He pulled his eyes away intime to see Nova nod to him a hare in her mouth. "Healer Nova. How are you dear?" Kiba/ Male Warrior/ 2 years 11 months In his state of focus, the silver male was able to feel Ravens warmth next to him. He took comfort in the feeling even as it left him. Licking Kashi's muzzle, Kiba felt the blood boil under his skin. His vision went grey as his power swirled in his eyes. Blinking it away the male stood and left to find something... anything to take his rage out on. Guilt, grief and anger drove him past Raven, Makeera and some new wolf without a second glance. He should have been there, he should have stayed at Kashi's side instead of trusting in some Rahese and Nova to care for his twin. He wandered way out of camp past the border of the territory and did not stop. He could not see let alone feel anything but his own guilt. He wanted to hurt..... himself for this but that would solve nothing. Far away from the heart of camp, Kiba let it all out in a single howl. It rang out scaring birds from their nest and deer from their grazing. Kashi/ Female unranked/ 2 years 11 months The soft lick upon her nose woke her from her sleep and she opened her eyes just in time to see Kiba leave her. "Brother..." she calls out to him, but he does not turn back and the flaps covering the emergency den fall into place. Turning her head as much as she can she looks for Nova or maybe Rahese. "Anyone? Please?" frustrated she pushes her head up just a little feeling the pull in her side. Kashi gives up a and lays back down. Waiting for Nova was her best option anyway. 0 players like this post! Raven/Headhuntress\Female Raven looked panicked as Kiba brushed past them, she needed to be there for, him, but she couldn't just leave this new wolf. She felt her self tearing in the inside, then made a decision. She looked over at the winged wolf, "Get something to eat and stay put, ill be back" Then she turned tail and followed Kiba into he forest, following his sent trail, and when she lost the sent, the shadows would whisper to her were he had gone. She drew up beside him, realizing that they had gone past the pack border. She howled with his, the melodies of their sad song mixing, her telling him of her love and commitment, his of his sorrow and regret. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Rahese | Male | 4yrs 6mnths | Lead Warrior Fury flew rampant through Rahese's form, his golden eyes glaring fearlessly at his father, even as the older wolf scolded him for his disrespect. In fact, the comment merely fanned his flames, his labia curling to reveal is canines. How dare the old fart loiter into camp and point out the flaws of others, when he had made no move to prevent anything himself? He had wandered from camp for months, taking all of his wise words and so-called valuable advice with him, so who was he to criticize? Pushing his luck, the brute pressed a growl through his bared teeth, showing just how impressed he was with his empty threats. Injured or not, the old gamma wouldn't stand a chance against him. Father or not, Rahese had no qualms over giving him a lesson. No fond memories or feelings swamped this male's vision -- he was an adult now, and Bascules had no right over him. Still, he wouldn't go quite so far as to attack a pack mate -- yet, anyway. As the old male lay down, the young male similarly calmed, shaking off the anger that clouded his mind as his father's words reached him. It was still there, of course -- but boiling beneath the surface, ready to snap back into position anytime. "What would you know of it?" he snapped, a growl rumbling in his voice. Tail lashing, he stood before the male, leaning dominantly upon his forepaws. "You've been gone -- not even in the territory, for who knows how long for who knows why. You don't know what went on here -- you don't know how we all were injured, or what I've been doing to help." Muzzle wrinkling again, he paced one paw forward, head ducking to glare the old male straight into his eyes. "So don't you blame me for every little thing that's happened. I've been patrolling -- the predators are restless, invading places they've never tread before. Attacking like they never have before. I think my little scratch here is evidence of that." Ears pinning to his skull, he lifted his head once more, puffing a huge breath from his maw. It was difficult to not just snap out an answer and wrench himself away -- he wanted to patrol, not to get into a long, useless conversation. In fact, he wasn't, he rapidly decided, eyes catching upon the form of Nova heading straight for them. It was no mystery to him what she wanted to talk about it, and it was obvious that she was going to use Bascule's presence as leverage. Baring his teeth, his gaze shifted back to his father. "Either way, I've been busy. Capise? Capise. It's none of your business anyway, so stop worrying your little old skull about it. You'll addle your brain even further." Whipping around just as the healer arrived, he trotted into the fringe of trees, ignoring how the rapid movement tore painfully at his side. If he slowed down, Nova was sure to stop him. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Saran // Male // 4 Years // Warrior "As you wish, Makeera. Thank you for the tour." He spoke in a graceful voice, thankful for all the kindness that was being thrown at him on his first day. There was food near, his stomach rumbled as he allowed his nose to drift his body towards the kill pile. Sarans' muscles tensed as he paced over to the dead animals. Once reaching the kill pile, he scanned it for the smallest deceased mammal. Of course, he did not want to over welcome his stay this soon. His orbs stared at the hare, some dry blood drenched the side of its body. 'Must of been an easy kill...' He thought and grinned as he clenched it in his jaws. The body was still warm, huddled among the other carcasses that had been piled on top of it. The dire wolf padded away from the rotting flesh smell that towered above the pile, and settled on the soil, lowering his body to the ground as he crossed his paws, overlapping the carcass with his body heat. His nose stuck in its fur as he flipped over the rabbit, exposing its belly Saran plucked the fur from its body, and dug his muzzle in the medium heated prey. When he lifted up his head, his muzzle was drenched in blood. He had thought that it was the proper time to stretch out his wings, his ears flickered as he allowed the weight on his back to be lifted up into the air, and his feathers stood straight up, exposing white feathers, opposite of his oddly colored pelt. Finishing the hare, strands of fur brushed past him though at this time he was too tired to try to catch it, knowing it wouldnt do the pack any harm anyways. A small huff escaped the maw of Saran as he saw other wolves around him. Thankfully they gave him some distance, but the brute still had much introducing to do. It would be hard to talk to some of the faes' around here. For, their minds are locked on finding a potential mate. There was some dramatic occurances happening nearby, snapping could be heard. Circling an area on the ground, Saran settled down and rested his head on his paws, wings drooping to his side. "Much training... So much training it needed." He muttered, his eyes squinting shut. Oh xD) Angel looked around and nuzzled each pup hoping that they would grow up healthy and her daughter takes her place. The female licked them clean and ate a tiny scrap which was left in the nursery. Belle was currently drinking the milk from her mother with only two sucks she was full. 0 players like this post! Bascules? Male Gamma Years of well earned control keep the male from snapping. Instead he sucked in a deep breath and watched as Rahese nearly sprinted away. Standing and shaking his head, Bascules stacked away in the opposite direction. "No one wants to listen, fine. Let some rival pack take over. Put all the pups in danger and see how well you do without my guidance" His lip curled at the thought of putting the pack in danger... but it was survival of the fittest. He'd only step in when needed. Passing Nova without a second glance and heading into camp. He noted the sad song of a wolfs howl, one he had sang once before. There was a lovely caring female howl joining it. The mixture soothed the beast within him and as he passed the border of camp he walked with a little more calmness. "Letting the young heal seems to be my best option before I spring the news on them." Kashi/ Female Unranked For some time Kashi drifted in and out of consciousness. As best as she could in her state, the female would take time here and there to groom her fur. In the places she could reach the fur was slowly turning into its normal shade of white. There was still a large amount of blood pooled around, on and near her. she shifted and continued to wait on Nova or at least Kiba to pull his head out of his but. It was boring all alone, though there were many interesting herbs to keep her interested. Spending most of her waking moments trying to figure out every scent in the room keep her mind off the blood. 0 players like this post! Like? |

(Well, Serkahri and Angel had two pups, and the other wolves are currently on the mend.) Serkahri and Tundra: Tundra decided to suck next to Belle, but fell asleep soon after. Being newborn, his sleep was currently dreamless, just a void. Serkahri walked up to angel, and said, "I need to get that hunter rank, and soon. The higher-ranked I am, the better I can provide for the pups. The seem healthy now, but I don't know about later on." There was concern in his voice. He padded up to Nova. "Nova, I think I am healed enough to fight, may I please continue the challenge for Kashi's rank?" he asked her, wondering what was taking the other wolf so long. He hadn't witnessed anything bad happening to her, though he knew she had a broken rib. That wasn't too hard to heal though, right? 0 players like this post! Like? |

Disdain/male/beta Disdain was incredibly bored with the day already, he decided that he would go talk to Iah. Maybe she would be interesting. He padded back into camp and found most of the pack huddled around a new pack member. He didn't like when new wolves came in like that but can't argue with the Alpha! He approached where Iah could get a place in the group "Hi Iah, do you know anything about him" flicking his ears to the strange wolf. He shuffled his paws with distrust and instinctively wanted to lunge for his throat in an attempt to defend the pack. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Nova | 4 Years,6 months | Female Healer | Single Putting down the hare so she could speak,Nova shook her head with good humor. “I’m doing as good as can be expected since every wolf seems to acquire an injury whenever I turn my back becoming difficult when I try to do my job.” Nova said raising her voice during the last part of the sentence so that the swiftly retreating form of Rahese could hear her remark. Bascules seemed upset with his confrontation with his son, as well he should be considering Rahese’s rude and aggressively aimed words. Nova shook her head in frustration and amazement looking back and forth between the fading forms of father and son. It continually amazed the experienced little wolf how full grown adults could act like little pups. If Nova had a family she would not let anything stop her from thanking the stars every day for such a gift. Her only experience with any kind of family had been her Mentor, Romak who had loved her like a daughter though it wasn’t the same as having blood relatives. Her “mate” did not count as any kind of family and her pups had been so small when her mate had destroyed them that Nova did not have the chance to bond with them and learn their personalities though she had loved them from the start. About to head out after Rahese Nova stopped when she noticed a new wolf entering the camp with several others, he had friendly body language and was quite handsome with beautiful black stripes on a white background encircling his neck, flowing down his chest and belly and completely covering his tail. Nova also noticed with something akin to shock that he had some of the galaxy-like pelt she herself sported which was the first time she had seen a wolf with something close to her own fur. The characteristic that most caught Nova’s attention though was the huge wing flowing from the wolf's back. Nova’s tufted ears perked forward in unexpected interest...to have a power that gave you extra appendages was almost unheard of and quite interesting to the healer who knew a wolf's anatomy by heart. Taking a step forward intending to take stock of the new wolf Nova was interrupted by Serkahri who wanted to continue with his challenge against Kashi. Nova’s ears flattened against her head threateningly until she realized that the younger wolf truly did not understand how dangerous a broken rib was to a wolf. Raising her head and looking at Serkahri with her piercing blue eyes, “I understand your urgency Serkahri, but I’m afraid that is not possible right now. Come with me I will show you what I mean.” Nova replied in a grave voice as she picked up her hare and trotted into the healing den twitching her ears meaningfully towards her ever observant Magpie then glancing at the new wolf. Ro would get a feel of the new creatures personality. Pushing aside the moss hanging between the surgery part of the dent and the normal part of the den Nova entered the surgery den, the stars of her pelt lighting up the area within at her command.Approaching Kashi Nova looked at her side, lifting a corner of the moss covering Kashi’s wound. Nova nodded in approval, the wound was already starting to heal with the speed all the wolves with potential powers seemed to display. Despite the speed the wound was healing at though, Nova guessed that it would still take at least two more days until Kashi was fully healed. “You're a very lucky wolf Kashi.” Nova said, while tearing her rabbit into bite sized pieces, she didn’t seem to have the time to eat anyway and the food would keep Kashi’s energy up allowing her body to heal. “I want you to eat all of this hare, Kashi.” Nova moved over to yet another basin of water, filling a hollowed out old bison skull with water and placing it in front of Kashi. Nova then continued to clean the den of any blood pausing only to ask Serkahri for help. There was a lot of blood, but with the younger wolf’s help Nova easily cleaned it up. “Looking at Serkahri piercingly she asked him quietly, “Do you understand now, wolf?” Ro had seen Nova’s signal and the smart bird understood enough to know that Nova wanted him to approach the new wolf to determine part of his personality. Flying down and landing a few feet away from the wolf Ro gave a caw and tilted his head with curiosity. He had played this game before for Nova approaching new wolves and determining part of their personalities and was always ready for aggressive, neutral or friendly reactions. Despite his familiarity with the game Ro had to admit that he had never seen a wolf with wings before, so he hopped forward a little closer to the wolf looking at them with even more curiosity while keeping an eye out for the male wolf’s reaction. 0 players like this post! Serkarhi//Male//2 yrs 7 months//Unranked "Whoa... how will you be able to seal it? And I thought she only had one slightly fractured rib, there's one fractured one and a broken one. Did anyonw do this?" Serkahri asked, seeing how gravely wounded Kashi had been. "I thought one fractured rib wasn't to bad, guess it is... when do you think she will be okay?" he asked the healer, stepping closer to Kashi. "I'm sorry you have to be in this state, Kashi... and when we do fight, I wish you the best to luck." Serkahri said to her. Sure, he was going to stay an omega if he lost, but he'd rather be an omega than have a broken rib, that was for sure. For the first time, he felt sorrow for those other than himself, his mate, and the pups. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Kashi/ Unranked Female/ 2 years 11 months Propping herself up to get a better view, Kashi nearly sighed in relief as Nova came through the moss covering. “Hello Nova-“ She began to speak but the words stuck along her tongue as Serkahri joined the Healer. The reaction was ingrained in her very being. He was a challenge to her rank and that was something she wished to keep and grow from. Kashi could understand, if only slightly Serkahri’s need to provide for his family. She would give in to the darkest of instincts to feed her own pups. Hell she would do anything for Kiba’s pups, blood or not any young in her care would be fit with the best life she could give them. A lesson she had learned from her mama. The laid to rest she wolf would turn in her grave if her pups ever looked the other way from a pup in need. Blinking away the lingering feelings the omega seemed to bring on unknowingly, Kashi turned her attention back to the she wolf. Caught in the sight that was Nova’s pelt she almost missed the healers evaluation. “Really? Only a few more days!” She squeaked, thanking the stars for suck quick healing. She barley noted that she was healing faster than she ever had before. It was a fleeting thought though and she was quickly brought back by Nova’s voice once again. The snow females mouth watered at the sight of the rabbit being offered to her. Glad that it was not wolf blood she was smelling, Kashi hungrily dug into the pieces of hare. Stopping only give a bashful “thank you,” to Nova, Kiba ate as if she hadn’t in weeks. Her side protested just slightly as her rump wiggled around in her new found energetic state. Although there was just a little less satisfaction in not being able to eat her own kill, Kashi was thankful all the same. Kashi Missed the omegas words, she was to set in the taste of her meal. Licking her chops as the soft strokes of Nova’s tongue along her fur culled her energy, Kashi choked a growl back as Serkahri neared her. Though the sound did not reach open air it still shuck her body slightly. Kashi had to look away and force her fur to settle as the two wolves cleaned away the blood. It surprised her when they finished and thrown off kilter when Nova questioned the omegas understanding. Was he learning the art of healing. She’d been so busy filling her belly to hear the males early comment and it angered her to think he was so secure in his success. It would be a cold day in Satins garden before she would let him win. Kiba/ Male Warrior/ 2 years 11 months It was a long silent moment before Kiba came back to the world outside of his thoughts. Shuffling his paws in the dirt he looked over at Raven a smile playing along his features. “Thank you, I feel slightly better now.” It was a well hidden lie and he would keep it that way until he could spare with someone or dig his claws into something. Green eyes were glazed over blankly as he gave Raven a brush of his fur as he headed back into territory. Pressing his nose into the ground the silver colored male began his patrol. A sneer curled his muzzle every now and then as multiple new scents tickled his senses. It was like blow after blow to Kiba’s pride . He was putting the pack in danger with his slacking. Pushing the thoughts away he treaded forward pushing through grass and avoiding trees. Leaving his scent among the forest as he went. Kiba was relieved to smell the Beta female in the natures mixture. At least someone had been caring for the pack. With so many wolves injured something was bond to take advantage of the weakness. After a pause in his scenting Kiba looked up and around him breathing in deeply. Out of the corner of his eye, Kiba caught view of Rahese. The male looked in a hurry… and pissed off. The little Kiba knew of the male lead Kiba to guess that Nova was to blame. The healer seemed to get under the warriors fur and maybe under those walls he kept up around his heart. As Rahese neared him the Kiba bowed his head. “Good morning Rahese Sir. Has Nova offered to clean your wounds or something?” The slight amount of amusement played into his voice, it also hid away some of his anger. Bascules/ Male Gamma/ 9 years Hearing Nova but choosing not to reply, Bascules walked on. Calming his nerves as he to his den. Long as his journey was the male forwent sleep and came straight home. Around a curve a good distance from the Alpha’s den, settled into the rock face was a small entrance. The Gamma’s den was covered by the ancient roots of a willow tree, and overgrown grass. Bascules skillfully crawled his way into the den standing tall once inside. Contrary to the entrance the first chamber of the den was large and open. It was filled with trophies of the past and different furs to rest on. Settling down on one of furs, he rested his head on his paws. The world turned in the gamma’s mind as he reviewed his trip. The riverside grave of Ness was just as he left it. An eternal beauty only rivaled by the form that rested there, the clearing was a peaceful place long untouched by power hungry wolves. Bascules wished he could say the same for the lands in between here and there. Wolves were tearing each other apart in a quest for power and someone was coming out on top. Carnage was a daily occurrence but this was an even larger scale. “The Young these days will do nothing but kill each other.” He Said to no one in particular. Pushing his claws into the bedding Bascules sighed. It was only a matter of time before others caught word of the pool of power within Fallen Embers territory. “And when they do… no good can come of it." 0 players like this post! Like? |
