Kashi/ Female/ Unranked/ 3 years
"Of course Nova, I understand that." Letting Nova do her job, Kashi couldn't help but look intently at the pair. The way they bickered but worked together was heartwarming. Rahese was a hard headed wolf sometimes and the healer pushed him to his limits. Kiba wasn't as stupid and useless as she came off sometimes. Plus laying around doing nothing but healing gave her time to admire and view her pack mates. Kashi wasn't sure if the pack would be able to handle a couple like those two and the very though made her laugh and feel a prickling of bitterness. But she brushed the feeling under the rug, like most other dark feels she ever had.
This time, Kashi was able to notice the flare of her gift. As it reacted to that small amount of bitterness in her heart. The stone beneath her paws warmed and the air began to thicken. The den was already a comfortable temperature because of the pool of water. Feeling the heat made the female pant minutely. 'What is this?' She didn't want to call it a gift or a power.... those things were always useful. This, this was not helpful. It only made her feel over heated and the stone hot under her.
Kashi tried to focus on something different. She let her eyes fall on the two in the pool, Nova was gently licking at Rahese. Quickly turning away from what could only be marked as an intimate sight, the snow colored female looked at one of the many bowls laying along a ledge. From her place, Kashi couldn't see what the bowl held and she found herself very much wanting to know. Not a moment later the bowl rattled and teetered on the edge of the ledge. Spooked out of her seat, Kashi jumped up, yelping like a pup. For a second more the bowl teetered, before settling down. "What was that?" she whispered.

Daphne/ Female Alpha/ 3 years
Daphne found herself laying out before a small patch of water. To large to be a puddle and yet to small to be a lake. In this new territory this was her favorite place. The flowers here were just as dangerous as she was and the familiarity was a comfort. Yet her mind was left in turmoil. 'From this up coming a war the pack wants to start, to the fast changing weather. Prey will be scarce this winter. With two packs so close...' Rainar and Madijaster may believe that the Fallen embers pack was weak compared to their own, but Daphne had no such misjudgment on things. 'Our pack is just as weak.... There is no harmony and our ranks are empty.' A harsh wind brushed through the clearing, shaking the alpha out of her thoughts. She shivered, curling up in a ball tucking herself tightly into the bass of a tree. Not ready to leave, the poison user tucked her muzzle under the lengthy ends of her tail.
The ripple of the wind reminded her of something else. 'Saran' powerful ripple of wind sounded almost like the sound the males wings made as he fled earlier that night. She couldn't understand her own pattern of thoughts at the moment. First she had been thinking of things that worried her and then... the galaxy pelted male crawled into her mind. 'What did that mean? Am I concerned he is a threat?' To her this was the most plausible answer as all males are a liability in her eyes. Caressed by the wind, and her golden yellow fur glowing in the moonlight she drifted off to sleep. Dreams filled with all the males in her life up to this point.

Raven|Female|Failing embers & Rainar|Female|Setting Suns

Raven couldn't help but feel guilty that she hadn't told Kiba about Rainar yet. she ripped her gaze from the mystery male and looked at kiba, but it was a mental struggle not to look back. "This is Rainar, she is my sister, I swear i meant to tell you, I just didn't find a very good time to do it..." she trailed off looking at Rainar for help. Her sister shrugged, not wanting to get into this mate fight, instead she dipped her head to the alpha male, showing her submissive quality, and her allegiance to the Setting suns pack. Rainar looked at this new wolf, " Its nice to meet you, but we should get going," she looked back at the Alpha knowing that he probably wasn't going to let them get away that easily.

Rajat | 5 Years | Setting Sun | Alpha Male

Rajat was silent as two more wolves entered the clearing, one an unknown male and one, Rainar, the female beta of Setting Suns pack...the intelligent alpha male studied all of these new creatures with and interested gaze. He had come to the decision that the shadow wolf like forms standing around the female Tundra had called Raven were not real wolves, but something entirely different. They interested the alpha male...could they bite into flesh? Or were they only useful for protection and perhaps intimidation? Rajat was distracted from his musings yet again by the sweet smell that caught his attention and made the skin under his pelt tingle with an effort of will the alpha ignored the enticing smell though he did not forget it. At the moment his first priority was to impress these two new wolves who were most likely from the local pack...though it was interesting that there was a similarity in smell between Rainar and Raven, he would have to get the whole story soon.

Swaying slightly as he moved the male gracefully walked closer to the small group...he did not actively use his mesmeric skills but his pelt, which usually increased his hold on others when his skill was active due to its reflective nature, was still slightly disorientating and had an almost other worldly beauty. The rising morning sun reflected of the alphas pelt in beautiful pinks, light blues and yellows. Bowing low after gently removing Tundra from his head the alpha introduced himself with his inherent charm, all the while intently studying these newcomers. "Hello, My name is Rajat alpha male of the Setting Suns Pack. We have just migrated into the area and I'm afraid our two packs have gotten off to the wrong start, you see, we lost many wolves on are journey here and I'm afraid we have become quite aggressive in our behavior." While he talked the Alpha noticed how the pale-white male wolf stood protectively in front of Raven, he would be a superb addition to the pack as his stance and scars told stories of the many fights he had fought and no doubt-ably had won.

If Rajat had not seen the shadows protective circling Raven with his own eyes he would have labeled her as average and unlikely to pass the test all wolves had to take to enter into his pack...she was not abnormally large and strong and neither was she small and swift, females were inherently weaker than the male species but sometimes on rare occasions they made up for it with sheer intelligence and ruthlessness. Rajat did not know if that was the case with this one, but she defiantly held interest for the charming male, the only time the Alpha had felt this interested in another was with Daphne who held the very essence of death within her body...unfortunately the alpha had never been able to lay a paw on her, for even he was susceptible to poison. With this wolf it was different...but it came with its own challenges not the least being the male in front of her...hmm. Rajat had always been very intelligent, almost to the point of genius especially when it came to getting what he wanted. He wanted the female wolf...but he also wanted the male warrior. An idea sparked in the male's head even as he listened to the introductions being made...but he would have to be careful...even then it might not work. " I would invite you to have dinner with my pack as an offering of peace or at least a chance to get to know each other better before we become enemies." Rajat said even as he ruthlessly calculated the advantages and disadvantages of inviting these new wolves. It would be interesting to see what would happen in the next few months and perhaps even years...Rajat was no fool, even if the local pack was weak it would still pose as a formidable foe especially to his depleted pack, the alpha had yet to find if the waters he sought were even here though he was guessing that they were from the evidence standing in front of him.

"The pup, Tundra, seems to have run from his home and was quite hungry when I found him. I gave him something to eat and he seems to be quite happy now." Rajat said gently licking the little pup with affection. "You know the parents I presume, terrible how they treat their pups not even watching over them. Though how can I judge, I have been a terrible father and now I might not even have the chance to rectify that." Rajat said lowering his head in what looked like heart-breaking grief, his body somehow seeming smaller and weaker then a moment before. He left his statement unfinished, knowing there would be questions especially from Rainar who knew his son.

Rajat looked into the distance his beautiful lavender eyes looking impossibly sad even as he hoped that his sons life force had been snuffed from the earth. If the pup showed up once again apparently rabies free he would probably become part of the pack, it would look suspicious if he suffered from an accident after his father had apparently thought he had rabies, but amazingly did no even have any symptoms. Rajat hoped that would not be the case and the pup would turn up dead, he had acted rashly though and he had a feeling that would set up problems in the future. Rajat sighed his face showing a turmoil of inner emotions even as he looked tiredly and charmingly at the female in heat. The wolf looked as if had been through too much and needed some help, which never failed to attract all the females in the area. "Will you two come with me and Rainar and eat? Tundra will be able to play with some of the toys I have collected so he will not bored." Rajat said his eyes pleading even as a calculating smirk settled internally unseen or sensed by the other wolves...though all the shadows within the clearing who seemed to develop personalities in the presence of Raven felt that smirk and shivered and edged away from the charming wolf. They were the only things that sensed this wolf's true nature...and unfortunately for them, they could not speak.

Tundra//Male//Pup/1 month//FEP

"Mother and father don't want me outside at my young age... I don't know why. I mean, pretty much everyone is nice to me, but still. Though I hadn't seen some brown furry wolf in a while... the first wolf I saw. I believe his name was Kaito." Tundra told Rjat, sighing. He noticed his paws were bigger than they were a few days ago. Did this meat help him? He wanted to be lazy and suckle that sweet milk all day. But at he same time he wanted to grow big and strong just like the lavender-eyed wolf. Tundra found a few insects in the dirt, and started playing with them. A warm feeling was felt in his heart. Was it... love? For this wolf he barely knew? Even already he felt that the beautiful male in front of him was his own kin, maybe even his own father. He knew Serkahri was he real father, but... The thought trailed off. "No, I love both." his mind echoed to him. He knew Serkahri was just trying to protect him, and so was Angel. Belle hadn't been speaking to him for a while, and it was starting to scare him. It seemed like all she did was suckle. "She'll never grow big and strong if she continues to drink that milk and do nothing else... I wish Belle would play with me more often." he accidentally said out loud.

Iah Cehka | Female | 4yrs 4mnths | Beta Female

The female gave a start as the luminescence of the pool splashed across the pup's face, revealing a horrid wound across one of his eyes -- coloured as curiously as his pelt, it seemed. His remaining eye shone with a colour one would typically only find in flowers -- lavender, but sparked with a life no petal could betray. Never had Cehka witnessed such a strange twist of colouration, and she couldn't help but stare; that is, until the pup disappeared from her senses. Ears tipping in confusion, her pale eyes frantically snapped over the back wall of the cave -- seemingly bare. It didn't take long, however, for her to quickly reach a conclusion. This pup had drank from the pool, and thus inherited his powers in a rather unusual fashion. Similar to mine, she quietly noted -- though obviously, his gift enabled him far better stealth abilities. With such a skill, he would surely excel in both hunting and fighting -- if he made it, that is.
Focusing on the one eye that betrayed his location, the female bowed her head to the little wolf, sensing the courage rise within him as he offered his name. Best not to scare him, she had promptly decided, and thus continued to display such harmless behaviours, lifting her head but allowing her rigid stance to relax and loosen. He was injured, and therefore defensive -- but Iah refused to offer bait. "I am Iah Cehka," she introduced herself in respect for him sharing his own name, nodding kindly before retaining her focus. "You seem to be in a bit of trouble, Calyx. What are you doing here, away from your family? And what happened to your eye?"

Rahese | Male | 5yrs 7mnths | Lead Warrior

Slowly, the male continued to methodically clean his wound, unsure of how long he was supposed to take. The water was a great discomfort, seeping into his fur and pressing hot against his skin with its unpleasantly damp texture. Still, he made no move to hasten the cleaning -- dreading any splashing that may be stirred up by rapid movements. To distract himself, he quietly listened to Kashi and Nova's brief conversation, only to be plagued with guilt the moment the healer explained what had happened. He desired to protest, to defend himself with snarling words and snapping teeth -- but that would merely reinforce the fact, wouldn't it? So he sat in silence, focusing his attention away so the guilt would not throb so fiercely. Instead, the wound did -- though he barely noticed, as the pain was only a bit worse than what it had been when he had tried to care for it before. Similarly, he barely noticed Nova's temporary departure from the cave -- ears twitching only at her eventual return. With her, the scent of blood -- not his own -- wisped into the den, and anxiety struck anew. He should be patrolling, not having a bath!
About to leap from the water, Rahese's escape was only deterred by the reappearance of the healer -- burdened with a thick bundle of herbs this time. Which, he dreaded, were likely destined for him. This only served to encourage his flight, but he knew that he would not make it far -- not with his injury, and not with Nova chomping at his heels. So, with an anxious whine, he licked more frantically at his wound.
It was a reaction he swiftly regretted. He growled sharply as the little female declared his incompetence, but immediately froze as she trod into the water beside him, sending ripples bowing against his side. His discomfort only grew as she surged determinedly toward his side, and he would have snapped at her again if she hadn't done something to utterly shock him. Shoving his own muzzle away, she replaced his licking with her own, much gentler version, before he could rightly prevent her from doing so. As he recovered from the shock, his lip proceeded to curl, threateningly exposing his canines toward her far-too-close head -- but he failed to vocalize, failed to act, because in all honestly, it felt a lot better with her doing it. It was a horrid truth, but a truth indeed, and Rahese eventually settled beneath her touch. His thoughts, exhausted by pain and sleep that failed to facilitate any rest, scrambled frantically against the sides of his head, snapping and barking and whining all at once, though externally he remained peaceful -- more in astonishment at the situation itself, but peaceful all the same.

Saran // Male // 4 Years // Warrior // Bio on Page 18 of Sign-Ups

The male was almost oblivious as Makeera followed after him. As her voice reached his ears, he turned his head around slowly.'Him?' He echoed her words in his mind and he just nodded, his golden eyes speaking for themselves. Just as Makeera entered the area, the strange rival male began to say something, but was cut off shortly by Saran's blow to his rib cage. 'He deserves worse...' The brute watched as Madjaster sat on the floor, somewhat stunned for a few moments, then he returned to his feet and snarled. The brutes pelt twinkled in delight from this pitiful entertainment. Mocking Madjaster, Saran let out a harsh snarl, his warm breath could be felt from where the intruder stood.

The pitiful male bolted off in a dramatic speed and Saran just frowned. 'He does know running away wont solve anything right...?' Madjaster could be about a mile away, and all Saran would have to do is run, and fly for his legs made his speed much quicker than anyone elses, he rarely used his speed as an advantage.. But this would do. 'So him... How shall we punish him?' He yawned with an angry flick of his bi-colored tail and responded with a somewhat concerned look in his eyes. "He shall receive a slow death... He'll watch me pluck his tail and gnaw it off of his own body, and his bones will crack" His deep voice grew deadly as he let out a snap at the end of his sentence. "Of course... I will do whatever you order, Makeera." He nodded and she took off.

It took Saran a moment to realize what had happened.. A chase was occuring. "Ooh, I knew that.." His ears drooped and he stood up with a shake of his pelt, then darted after both his alpha and the male Madjaster. Within seconds, Saran was alongside Makeera, adrenaline pulsed in his blood and he turned his head, passing Daphne sitting near a puddle of water. His heart about stopped. 'You must continue on later...' His eyes intensely narrowed and he about stopped and stumbled to the earth's crust, but he shook Daphne off of his mind for the moments being, and continued his chase. He awed the female for some off reason.

Catching up to the fleeing brute, Saran jumped up with a harsh flap of his wings, and landed infront of Madjastar, his teeth clenching the males neck fur. Even though the three canines were in the rival packs territory, Saran didnt quite care... If he had to, he would kill anyone who disturbed the occurance that was happening... But not the females, he'd just defend his right to kill the bastard by blocking them out of the way. Yanking the males neck, Saran growled as his teeth pinched his skin, he devilishly clamped down harder, holding Madjastars head close enough so he couldnt swing around to him him.

Mentions: Daphne, Madjastar, Makeera
Addressed: Madjastar, Makeera
Open For Approach: Yes
Other: I didnt want to physically harm you're character until I have to okay that you dont care. I'll allow Makeera to damage him, unless Saran is ordered to do so ^-^

Nova | 5 years, 7 months | Female Healer | Falling Embers

Nova was sincerely shocked when Rahese allowed her to clean his wound...she had expected him to deny her help, most likely in a violent and loud fashion and he had reacted with bared teeth, but surprisingly the wolf had left it at that slowly relaxing under her gentle touch. Now Nova was in a position she had completely gotten herself into...normally the healer would have no problem cleaning another's wound no matter what species or gender, but for some reason the little intelligent wolf could not grasp Rahese was different and being so close to him in what was admittedly becoming a very personal situation was affecting not only her thoughts but also her physical body, a creeping heat crawling slowly over her skin in what the Nova soon identified as a blush. Thank the Stars for my fur! Nova thought amid her crowded and confused mind. She wondered why Rahese was not acting like his normal self, one reason, the obvious reason, would be his wound that Nova now confirmed was indeed infected was influencing his thoughts. Unfortunately the little wolf knew from experience that infection usually made wolves more aggressive not this almost complacent behavior the already high strung wolf was displaying. There is no other explanation, Nova assured herself...but indeed there was another explanation for the warriors behavior. One Nova was to afraid to think of, for it held many possibilities many that struck fear in the fiercely independent healer. “Come Rahese, let's get this wound taken care of Nova said, finally finished with cleaning the males wound.

Calyx | 1 month | Male pup
Calyx was confused when the female seemed to lose sight of him for a while...now that he thought about it he could not smell the scent of his father's pack on his coat...but that should not make this female unable to see him. Looking down Calyx yelped in panic jumping high into the air. Where were his paws? The pups panic was shown in his pelt it suddenly appeared again but not the comforting blue-gray with silver stripes the little pup was used to... his pelt was now a bright purple. Unbeknownst to the pup this color was a representation of his original panic and fear of not being able to see his own paws. Pain suddenly ripped through the pups eye a result of his violent movement jumbling his thoughts...again his pelt reacted to his mind emulating his confused emotions by rapidly changing colors and frightening the pup even more. The little pup was now completely unsettled, he was tired, confused, and scared, within strange territory and facing a female wolf who was asking questions the little pup could not answer and did not want to answer for fear of what she would do. He could not and would not tell her where he came from...but that is where his determination and logic ended and instinct overtook...he was in danger and the only safety was by his mother’s side...but his mother was gone...probably dead, so the little pups survival instincts settled for the next best thing...the female laying in front of him. The brave little pup who had shown itself a few seconds before was buried beneath fears and worries as the little pup ran at Iah Cehka and buried himself in her side afraid of how his actions would affect the female’s behavior. Was she one of those wolves who would kill any stray pup?

(You can hurt him all you like, just don't kill him ^^ and Makeera won;t attack him, espesially not after Madjaster is gettigng the punishment he deserves for killing Kaito.)

Madjaster let out a loud whine as Saran's fangs pierced the skin in his neck. "Please, don't kill me!" he yelped. Though he knew that if the brute didn't kill him, then bloodloss would. Even worse, his pack didn't have a healer. He heard that this one did though, which only caused him to envy this pack he thought was weak. "Saran... don't kill him. However, that doesn't mean I don't want him to be punished... he shall feel just enough pain, just enough to not kill him." Makeera replied. She then jumped onto Madjaster as well, biting at his stomach and tearing into it. Not really to eat, but just to inflict enough damage.

Raven|Female|Headhuntress|Falling Embers

She looked at kiba, almost looking for support, she didn't want to say anything, just in case she didn't like what she was saying, she shifted from paw to paw avoiding Rajats eyes, she could barely rip her gaze from his magnificent fur. she could never admit this to anyone, but she did think he was quite handsome, and his manors were very nice. She didn't understand why her shadow family was reacting why it was, the Alpha was charming. But she trusted them, she had for a long time, and that was another reason she hand's replied yet, she didn't know how to decline politely. she was feeling quite uncomfortable, she was blatantly aware that she was in heat, the sent consumed the air, and she wished that she could vanish and was back at the pack. She couldn't even remember why she had left.

The shadows drew closer, they could tell the evil that was held in the alpha wolf, and they didn't hesitate to tell Raven, they wouldn't want one of their own to be harmed by an outsider. They had barely accepted her Mate, his light colored fur was a disappointment and many had voted for him to be shunned. But the majority had won out and he had been accepted. They whispered the evil to their daughter, and they watched as the gears turned in her brain, they couldn't help smirking back at the alpha, they turned solid, and grew a little, they were totally prepared to defend one of their own.

Rainar|Female|Beta|Setting suns

Rainar physically flinched as he asked them to diner, she could barely believe that he hadn't killed the male and then forced Raven into their pack. But that's were the real evil lied, he was manipulative and sneaky. She cringed, her emotions rising to the surface. this happened when she was near someone she cared for. She went to stand near her Alpha, and she pleaded with her eyes that they should decline the offer. She looked fearcly at Kiba and slightly shook her head, he should not accept that offer. she didn't voice her opinion, she would be punished severely for that, and maybe even killed. how could she have ever thought that Raven could have joined this pack? she shrunk inside, how could she be in this pack? But she couldn't leave, even though she hated the Alpha male she was loyal to he alpha female, plus this pack was stronger, at least she thought it was.

Iah Cehka | Female | 4yrs 4mnths | Beta Female

"Whoa, easy!" the female cried as the pup spun into a confused panic, flashing into her sight in a most wild fashion. His fur spattered with unnatural colours, the pup recoiled in fear of himself, and quite understandably. It would be quite unusual to witness oneself disappear -- even Iah hadn't seen it herself, though she had played with her mysterious breath often enough. Watching in vain as the little pup threw himself about, no doubt hurting the laceration that bisected his eye, the pale wolf shifted slightly closer, not daring to get up in case he attempted to flee, but closing off the area he thrashed about him, limiting the room he had to hurt himself. It was a fearful thing to watch, and she desired to stop him -- but she feared that if she moved to touch him, he would recoil or snap, fearing her an enemy. It was an association she wanted to avoid, so she watched in measured silence as he frightened himself more and more, turning himself about, with saddened eyes desperately searching for resolution.
Iah Cehka gave a start as the pup suddenly whirled, charging straight toward her. She refused to react -- there was nothing he could truly do to hurt her, anyway -- and was glad for it as, to her surprise, the young pup buried himself against her side, his warm body burrowing into her fur. Blood smeared darkly against her pelt, and she remained frozen for several moments. Slowly, however, she turned her head toward him, muzzle looming toward his small form, hard canines and a gaping, red mouth hidden beneath soft lips.
Her breath puffed against his back, ruffling his strange fur, contrasted so oddly against her own -- and offered the gentlest of licks across the back of his ear. Gently burying her muzzle into his pelt, she inhaled before quickly huffing the breath out -- simultaneously absorbing his scent and warming his side. "It's okay," she reassured quietly. "Nothing is wrong with you -- I can explain everything to you when you're ready, and you can explain everything to me. But for now, you can rest assured -- no one here will hurt you. Especially not if I have anything to say about it. You're safe."

Rahese | Male | 5yrs 7mnths | Lead Warrior

The pain ached more gently in his side as Nova's tongue lapped against the wound, slowly cleaning the puffy exterior. In all honestly, he desired to stop the situation from continuing -- but couldn't. It didn't feel very good, by any means -- the pain was heavy and sickening, hot and uncomfortable -- but the slow rhythm seemed to help, even where the hot waters did not. He also struggled to put aside the fact that it was the bratty healer that was doing it -- why he was allowing her, he had no idea, but he kindly blamed it upon the water that lapped uncomfortably at his sides, and the fuzzy presence that had entered his mind. He was dizzy, and scared -- and that was why, he determined with certainty, he allowed this annoying tuft of fur to clean his wound. There was also the hope that once this was over, he could leave immediately. Cleaning it was good enough -- there were far too many pressing matters to be concerned with, and some silly would wasn't about to stop him. After being cleaned, it would surely patch itself right up. Healing should come naturally, once it was cleared of infection by the water.
So he waited, measuring his patience with fits and bursts, taking time to revel in the silence that Nova so rarely exhibited. A nagging voice told him that she would likely leave him be even more if he didn't resist her help so obstinately, but he quickly chased such foolish thoughts from his mind with an internal, snapping snarl. As the female finished, Rahese's head abruptly snapped up, and he forced himself to his paws. Hastily moving from the pool, the great brute gave his fur a violent shake, scattering water droplets across the den and eliciting a brief whine as the movement pulled at his injured side. There wasn't much to be done, however -- the water would cling to him until it decided to dry from his fur, and he was stuck with the discomfort until then.
Whirling toward the entrance, eyes slitting against the light that gleamed from outside, the male staggered a few paw steps toward it. Gaze catching momentarily on Kashi as he swung his gaze toward Nova, he took a moment to tip his head in confusion to her actions. What's she up to? he questioned silently, eyes dipping toward the bowl before he finally focused his attention upon the dark healer once again. "It's clean now, right? I can...?" Pausing in his question, his brow furrowed in annoyance. "I'm leaving," he declared instead, leaving no room for discussion on the matter.

Nova | 5 years, 7 months | Female Healer | Falling Embers

Nova heard felt the heat and heard the noise of a moving bowl near Kashi and would have normally turned to see what was happening. Unfortunately she had something else to deal with...someone else. Rahese was once again determined to leave the healer's den...at first seeming uncertain but then suddenly declaring he was going to leave. “Your leaving?” Nova repeated, her voice clearly ironic as she turned his words in a question. Moving swiftly Nova suddenly appeared in front of the den entrance in a blink of an eye, staring challengingly at Rahese...to Nova’s relief the odd feelings she had been experiencing had vanished when Rahese had declared somewhat rudely that he was going to leave...and she really should let him leave if that was what he really wanted...to leave and slowly die from infection. Unfortunately Nova could not let that happen...because he was the Lead Warrior of the pack...he was a very important wolf especially at this time when things looked dire indeed with the arrival of a new pack in the area. It definitely had nothing to do with Nova’s own personal feelings...nothing at all. Despite this Nova knew that for once in a long while she was at a disadvantage against another wolf. If this had been a real fight she had no doubt that she could have made up for her little size with her speed, agility and training. But this was a different situation...she was a very small wolf trying to keep a very big wolf from leaving the den. Oh the infection might help her achieve her goal of keeping him in the den, all was needed was to hit the wound, but that would only result in excruciating pain for the male...and despite Nova’s inner denial for her feelings, the very thought of the warrior going through such pain made bile rise in her throat. Not feeling very nice at the moment and, infact, feeling very disgruntled with the male for making these startling emotions rise within her, Nova played dirty...she had known the warrior for quite some time and she knew his personality relatively well, she knew he would rise to any challenge he felt threatened by, was high strung and quick to anger which he sometimes used to power his fighting skills, she also knew that, when confronted with a wounded wolf he was unsure of what actions he should take. The male felt bad for accidentally wounding her, she had seen his guilty glances, which was a surprise considering how much he seemed to despise her. So instead of yelling at the warrior and telling him just how big she thought his brain was, Nova did something totally out of personality. Stretching her neck, Nova winced with pain as the wound on her pelt stretched, breaking the thin layer of scab open, blood slowly seeping out..then dripping onto the floor in a dark puddle-a reminder. Standing firmly in front of the door Nova let her ears droop a little, her shoulders slacken..as if infinitely tired. “Please, Rahese let me finish healing you. I do not have the time nor the energy to fight.” To her surprise her belly gave a loud growl of hunger at that moment...it had been almost three whole days since she had eaten a meal, she had not been able to focus on feeding herself when she had to care for so many others...perhaps that was why it wasn’t that hard to let her shoulders droop and her eyes dull-because she was extremely tired. Yes, she had gotten a pretty good nap yesterday afternoon, but that did not make up for the energy her body desperately needed from meat, just a short nap every two days was not enough for the wolf, a species of creature who usually put in a lot of hours of sleeping. In a second Nova’s plan backfired when she realized just how hungry she was and how tired she had become...her legs were shaking. Nova’s tired front suddenly vanished as she expertly hid her exhaustion...now that she knew that she was in fact very tired and vulnerable it felt to risky to “pretend” to have those very same qualities. Hoping to distract the warrior from her still shaking legs Nova growled angrily at him taunting him. “You want to leave? What are you? A squirrel brain?”

Calyx | 1 month | Male pup
Calyx, like most young wolves, had always believed he was immortal...the possibility of death was just not an option to the little wolf. Yes his father had been big and Calyx had always been cautious around his father, knowing that his father might accidentally hurt him because of the alpha’s size. It was Ironic that when his father had actually hurt him it had not been an accident and had in fact been meant to kill him. But, of course the little wolf did not understand irony yet...all he knew was that he was suddenly aware of just how vulnerable he was as his eye burned painfully. He felt the hot breath of the female at the base of his neck. Instinctively the little pup froze..his heart stuttering. The back of the neck was one of the most weak and vulnerable places on an animal's body and Calyx clearly felt each beat of his heart as he felt Iah’s breath on his neck. In that moment Clayx learned something wolves do not usually learn until well into their third year of life or perhaps even later than that. How very little he was compared to the other wolves...he, a pup was like a spark of fire, the brightest of all other fires but easily extinguished by others. Suddenly a warm comforting tongue rolled over the back of his head...it had been so long since anyone had done that and it instantly calmed the little wolf...his earlier worries buried deep, but not forgotten. Calyx suddenly realized how tired he was...his eye burned painfully and his tummy rumble but Calyx’s instincts kicked in once again in response to Iah’s warm touch. Calyx was already asleep when Iah declared her promise his breathing deep and even of one truly exhausted, but worryingly the wound over his eye was bleeding just as fast if not more than the minutes before.

Tundra//Male//Pup//1 month//FEP

"Well... it's really late. father and Mother will awake anytime soon, so I ought to get back home. Well thanks for helping me get stronger, I'll see you soon i guess." tundra squeaked, as he bounded away. He turned around, giving Rjat one last grin, before once again trotting back home. Finally, he made his way into the healer's den and next to Belle. Soon after, he fell asleep, making not even a slight noise. The sun would soon rise, and a pup like him should get as much sleep as possible. Before drifting away, Tundra's last thought was "I'm done with milk."

Kiba/ Male Warrior/ 3 years
For a moment Kiba contemplated the pro's and con's of taking up Rajat on his offer. He didn't want to take Raven away from her sister, just as he didn't want to leave his behind. But the silver wolf was coming to realize that maybe being in one pack together with his twin was not the best option. "I guess one meal couldn't hurt," he finally answered. Eyes still glowing a translucent grey as he used his power to track the other males every breath, Kiba turned to Raven. Not truly seeing her but knowing by heart where she was he gave her a serious look. "But you are not to leave my side... not while your in heat at least." His voice turning soft at the end before he regained his proud stance and looked back to the alpha.
With Tundra no longer sitting atop his head the male was more intimidating. Not one to back down from any challenge, Kiba walked forward. "If it is alright with you, I'm sure my mate and Rainar would enjoy a few hours together." Grey eyes stared intently into lavender as Kiba put infuses on the word 'mate'. His nerves were frail enough having Raven's scent of heat brushing him with every breath of the wind. It was not helping any that she was outside the protection of the territory.

Kashi/ Female/ unranked/ 3 years
The moment Rahese announced he was going to leave the den, Kashi back stepped to a corner of the den. Curling up in the out of the way of a whatever Nova's reaction was going to be. Having helped clean Nova's wound, Kashi knew they were willing to go toe to toe. It came as no surprise that Rahese would try to leave a soon as possible. He was always running from the healers care. At first the large female thought it was just his dislike of being treated and cared for, coupled with a need to always look strong. Now.... she wasn't so sure. Even someone so proud wouldn't let a small wound grow so dangerous for the sake of saving face. Kashi didn't believe Rahese 'that' thick headed. It had to be something else. 'If its not getting treated then..... its being treated by Nova.' This confirmed her early thoughts. there was something growing between the tow and neither was willing to admit it.
As Nova's belly rumbled, Kashi felt guilt rise in her chest. The healer had brought her food when she was on bed rest. Yet Kashi had not done any hunting at all. Even being unranked at the moment she should have been using the skills trained in her to provide for the pack. The fae's ears dropped back across her head as she thought of how over worked Nova must have been. Healing, hunting and having a test of will come from the lead warrior almost every moment of the day was not fair. The healer took it all on gracefully but it should not come to that.
Swallowing the guilt, Kashi Stood up and walked to stand between Nova and Rahese. "The both of you should rest." she said standing taller than Nova and nearly eye to eye with Rahese. "You cant protect the pack as well if your bleeding out on the ground." she growled at the male before looking at the Healer. "and you will be no use to anyone if you starve to death!" Kashi flinched slightly ears dropping, she had not meant to shout or growl. Beginning to fidget on her paws she looked sadly between the to. "I mean you both could use some rest and a good meal. I don't want either of you to be over worked. Please just rest here and I'll go hunting for us all?" The last of it ended as a plead for a way out. Winter was here and the pack didn't have time for so much aggression between wolves.

Daphne/ Alpha Female/ 3 years
Disturbed from her rest buy the rushed passing of paws, the alpha untucked herself from the comfort of her ails. Stretching as she stood the female walked toward the sound of a scuffle. 'Someone hunting so late?' She figured it was a prey animal being taken down. Not know how right yet so wrong she was. Coming through the trees just in time to see a small female rip into the belly of Madijaster. Not a blink of the eye was spared for the fool. Daphne only waited in the tree line as he was punished for his crime. 'He gets what he has earned.' Even as she felt her insides roll at the sight of his blood spilling upon the grass, the fae did not make move to help him. Instead, Daphne steeped from the trees. Bent on greeting the female..... and Saran.
'He's just holding Madijaster down while the female strikes. She must be the mate of the wolf the idiot killed.' Daphne thought before stepping hard down on a fallen branch to get the attention of the others. 'It is only right that I meet the Alpha female of the Fallen Embers pack.' Now was a good of time as any, If only to build a solid relationship with the female before all hell broke loss. Maybe a truce during the winter would help everyone in each pack.
"May I interrupt for a moment?" She ask walking up next to the trio. the pads of her paws splashing in the blood of the trapped warrior. "You see, I can not simply let the brute bleed out." She left out the fact that it would please her to do so, as she took a paw and pressed it onto the warriors wound. causing pain and ebbing the blood loss. Not looking at either of the brutes, the small fae stared up at the other female. Waiting for her to step down off of the bleeding male. "Let us see if we can not come to an understanding." Pressing down harder with her paw as more blood leaked out. 'You will be thanking me later brute'.

Madjaster and Makeera:

Madjaster simply whimpered in response. "Yes... I am not intending to kill him, just to make him feel the pain I have when he had killed my mate. A truce would work, but not now. Not as long as this brute is breathing, or at least not until he learns from his mistakes." Makeera replied to Daphne. She got off of Madjaster, her claws dripping with blood. "He killed my alpha, also known as my mate, whose name is Kaito." she growled. "Some of your packmates have been causing trouble on purpose." she informed Daphne, glaring at Madjaster. "And now I will need to give my former mate a proper burial, and then after seek out possible suitors. I will never be able to completely forget Kaito, nor will I want to." she added in, sitting down and her tail curling, covering her bloody paws. Madjaster growled as the two alpha faes talked. "And our pack doesn't even have a healer." he growled. "And my pack does, but I doubt my healer would even think of wanting to heal you." Makeera snarled back at the warrior. "I believe in order to form a truce," Makeera said to Daphne. "that I will need to get to know the rest of your packmates, and you meet mine. I have heard your pack doesn't have a healer and that your pack is dwindling. I may possibly be able to help, though there is so much bickering in the Falling Embers Pack that it's difficult to get them to help even our own pack. Aside from my main advisers, Nova the healer female, and Iah Cehka the beta female."

Saran // Male // 4 Years // Warrior // Bio on Page 18 of Sign-Ups // Falling Embers Pack
Saran released the neck of Madjaster, a sadistic emotion filled his eyes as he watched his alpha tear into the belly of the warrior of Setting Sun. "And you expected to get away with it?" A devilish grin formed on his maw as he watched Makeera's maw fill with the brutes blood. "Its amusing... Quite entertaining to see you suffer after what you had done to our pack." He whispered in the males ear with a heartless tone to his voice. His anger and frustration could no longer be contained. A growl escaped his maw and he lashed out, lunging his head forward his jaws snapped halfway down the males right ear, his skin tore inbetween Saran's teeth, and dangled by a small peice of skin. 'For you... to remember that you're pitiful actions are visible to all around you.'

Saran sat down, his wings resting at his side, he watched as Makeera's claws dripped with Madjasters blood. If he didn't have the belief that eating you're own kind was forbidden, Saran would of killed Majaster, and eaten his fleshy meat, plucking out the fur all over his body. The warriors thoughts were interupted as a snap of a fallen tree branch could be heard from behind them. 'Daphne?.. His head turned in surprise as the deadly scented female paced herself their way. She didnt seem eager to help the warrior, but placed her paws forcefully on the wounded male, her claws dipped in some blood and the male hoped that some 'poison' was transmitted into his blood. Though, Daphne seemed to know how to control her powers in a way that Saran couldnt understand. Madjaster was in a harsh condition, blood and flesh painted the area with... Red

When Daphne approached, it had put Saran in a somewhat awkward position. These feelings he felt were so unreal to him, and he listened to them talk... He blanked out until he heard the word 'truce' Daphne seemed to take the role of an alpha's job. 'What the hell is going on?' He heard Madjaster growl towards Makeera, and Saran snarled, openening up his wing, he smacked the brute and responded with a deep tone of frustration. "Then I suggest you learn how to heal yourself." His eyes narrowed and his ear flickered with annoyance towards the imposter. His heart rate decreased as he calmed himself down, his shoulders resting as his fur rested on his body, not sticking up once so ever.

He looked down towards his alpha, she looked like a simple adolscent to him, small... So small, yet she had a mature attitude. "Makeera..." He interupted they're conversation, Not quite looking at Daphne yet. "Falling Embers is understanding... But this mutt killed Kaito; our alpha... Even if we were to accept this 'pack' as a truce, no wolf will be in favor for benefeiting this male. He would probably be dead if he even tried to enter our territory... I'd kill him myself." He snarled, but continued. "But I prefer he live with his actions." Then, the dire male looked at Daphne, a content look filled his facial features. "Daphne..." He paused, and added a sarcastic comment. "You do not stroll with this pack. And I see it now, you help lead it." His tail flickered and his golden orbs grew. "Not all of you're members mean harm. But we can't help wolves like him I wouldnt allow this male to be healed in my presence. I'd forbid it." Saran stood up and glared at Madjaster, his body towering over all of the wolves, especially the wounded warrior.
