I'm still learning the game and I sold a lion that had the long left eye scar, not having any clue that the decor would be sold with it. I kept searching for it in my hoard before finally realizing what had happened. I think it's really confusing that the decors come off automatically in other situations but not when you sell a lion. I would have expected an alert box or something to warn me that the lion had decors equipped that I would lose if I didn't remove them.
