As you can deduce it from the title, this guide's idea is to tell you about things you will be able to get, when choosing certain choices while exploring. In addition to that, I have also told where the particular event is possible to encounter, to make it easier for you (and me). (: Tip: Use Ctrl + F combination if you have trouble finding the encounter info you're looking for. --

Sometimes what happens is different than what you have in the guide, but not by much 0 players like this post! Like? |

I managed to level up to 31 today and am happy to say I'll be reporting the encounters from Waterhole :) A giraffe is trying to drink. Roar: You roar at the giraffe, making it trip and fall into the water. Ha, ha, ha. Derp. Drink: +3% impression progress, +35% energy, +6 karma Attack it!: +10% impression, +200 XP, Giraffe Carcass, -6 karma A big Blue Crane lands to feed in the sedges. Chase: You run into the sedges, splashing water and scaring the Crane away, just barely snapping its tail. Oh well, a small trophy! +1 Crane Feather Pounce: You hide in the grass, waiting for a good moment to attack and finish your deed like a boss. +Crane Carcass, -2 karma Watch: You lie down for a bit and watch the beautiful creature gobble snails, lizards and frogs. +10 energy, +2 karma You spot a few Black Herons hunting for fish in unusual positions. [bad karma exclusive, probably] Pounce!: As the birds fly away in fear, they drop a rain of black dancing feathers. You manage to catch a few, while others fall into the water. +3 Black Heron Feather, -1 karma A lonely cow from a human settlement is taking a sip of water. Attack!: +Cow carcass, -2 karma Sip along!: +2% impression, +2 karma What's that?! Some weird red fox. It seems to be really hot. Roar!: You warn it with a mighty roar. It's your water. All of it. +1% Impression Scare: You do some random aggressive moves - not bothering to attack though. The fox runs away, barking fearfully with its tail between its legs. Bahaha! +1% impression. -2 karma Share Shade: You move deeper under the tree, sharing your favourite spot of shade to let the fox cool down a bit. +1% impression, +2 karma Unless I got unlucky, that should be all of the area-specific encounters in Waterhole, at least for bad karma. Good karma probably has a different variation with the herons. 0 players like this post! Like? Edited on 28/04/16 @ 23:27:37 by Tirrathee [pfm] (#58785) |

Very helpful! Might I suggest that on the butterfly encounter in the shrubland, there is a chance that you can get a butterfly decor when you select catch? 0 players like this post! Like? |

For the butterflies one in the tropical forest, if you choose catch you actually have a chance of getting a butterfly decor. It is unlikely though! :] 0 players like this post! Like? |

Marshlands A few Bushpigs dig for grubs in the reeds nearby, grunting like pigs should. -Join the Digging -Mmmm, pork -Pounce! -Pounce! You rush at the pigs, grabbing one in your deadly jaw grip. After a long, whiny squeal the pig dies, scaring all the others away. You got +5% impression progress and a Bush Pig Carcass -3 Karma 0 players like this post! Like? |

I think this one is new? Can't find it anywhere and it's a leopon cub Tropical Forest You stumble upon a tiny cub that looks a bit like a lion, but also a leopard. It notices you and runs towards you very excitedly! Frolic or Kill Frolic -> You roll on your back and play with the cub! Hey it just met you and this is crazy, but you're having fun and it feels like your baby! You hold onto that feeling as it's time to depart. 0 players like this post! Like? |

I came across this event from the Tropical Forest and couldn't find it here. So I thought this might help: "You catch the scent of a rare antelope and follow it for a while. The balbok male you eventually spot gets nervous as soon as you show up." Attack or Lie down -Lie down You show your good intentions by laying down and slowly blinking at the antelope. He kicks at the ground a bit, but eventually calms down and leads his herd to a more secluded spot. Perhaps it's for the best if they don't venture out into the open, where poachers could see them. When you get up to move, you find something crawling in the dirt. (+1 PP, +2 RB) -Attack ? ----- A giant pangolin is waddling towards a termite mound. It does not seem bothered by your presence. Bop it or Twist it or Pull it -Bop it You scoot closer and extend your paw, then... you bop the pangolin. And you bop it again. And again! The creature playfully tries to bop you, too, but its long claws made you jump back right onto a small carcass hidden in the bush! (+50 EXP) You got a Scimitar Oryx Calf Carcass -Twist it You stand at its side and push it! The pangolin rolls and squirms in surprise. You try to attack it, but you only managed to chip off some of its scales. (+50 EXP) You got a Pangolin Scale! -Pull it (Whoops, a duplicate comment sorry! How does one delete their comment?) 0 players like this post! Like? Edited on 24/03/20 @ 04:57:20 by CryptidUni (#197426) |

A creature is climbing a safou tree, shaking it a little. It seems that insects are feeding on the tree's rotting fruit. What a perfect spot for the tree pangolin! Shake the Tree Or Search the Ground Or Dig Around -Shake the Tree -Search the Ground You decide to scope the area, curious if there's anything here other than rotting fruit, flies, and ants. Bird droppings... hm. But, hey! You find some scales scattered below the tree trunk. You got 2 x Pangolin Scale! -Dig Around 0 players like this post! Like? Found this encounter and couldn't find anything else about it so... You hear elephant activity nearby and decide to check it out. A young female elephant is digging in a human landfill, curious to find any unusual treats or toys. A lot of this rotting food is probably not suitable for the consumption of lions and elephants alike. Dig or Educate or Attack Dig: You ultimately decide it's worth the risk and begin to search for some rotten, but edible, food. Not a good example, buddy! You got a Half Eaten Elephant Carcass! -2 karma Educate: You approach the elephant and try to explain that this junk is very toxic. Just because it may be easily accessible, that doesn't mean it should be used. The diseases created and spread by humans are very hard to fight with the natural resources animals have. The elephant agrees and tosses you a gift of gratitude, straight from a nearby tree. You got a Leopard's Meal! +5 karma Attack: (Will edit if/when I find it again!) 0 players like this post! Like? Attack initiates a normal battle, I believe— Educate also has the rare chance to drop Styx Mane instead of a Leopard’s Meal. The other carcass you can get from digging is a Half Eaten Rhino Carcass. 0 players like this post! Like? |

I remember your lion might come across an event where a white female cheetah was teaching many surprisingly quiet youngins about something nice, and my lion listened too. He currently has great karma, but maybe this happens if a lion has neutral, because I haven't encountered it in a while.
