I've taken out the deleting of accounts and names after speaking with Kimiko and Nny and a good long shower meditation. So, thanks guys!

The account deletion on here is voluntary. Please read before you press no support. I am not suggesting that we delete the accounts of anyone without their permission.

Ok. I just was thinking that there is no way to delete an account on here (or even inactivate/permanently suspend one). I understand that you don't want people deleting their account because they don't like their rolled lion and making a new one. And even some have said it might mess up the account numbering (Hence the permanent suspension/inactivation) But here are my ideas:

After a year/year and a half a delete account button can show up at the bottom of your den. This prevents new players from deleting right away and making a new account. They may be more invested in the game at the time. This also allows those who just no longer want to player or never really got into it to delete their account which frees up space and names.

OR as suggest below: "the player will click the button that shows up in a week or so, BUT a email box pops up and the player must explain WHY they want the account deleted, and they must wait a month before rejoining." I would say if the e-mail is written to have this show up on the first day.

Ideas to add? Comments? Criticisms? Please comment and let me know what you think. Thank you for listening to me babble.

Ok. I understand that! My topics are always changing slightly as I think and new ideas are added.

I agree that something needs to be done regarding inactive players showing up, especially in stud searches. One possible solution is to have stud offers be relisted once per week or at least bi monthly since it would be logical to update your stud offer regularly since your king would be gaining levels/stats etc it would be logical to want to change your offer so what better way then to have any stud offer be listed for just a week.

I agree especially with knocking idle studs out of search. I think it should apply to the trading center too. It should help save resources for the game. Individuals who haven't logged in in over 30 days can be booted from both and a simple IDLE flag added to the top of their den. When they log back in, flag goes away - it just lets folks know they haven't been on if they're looking at users.

I also think folks should be allowed to delete their accounts. Many folks like to start over. Others may just want to remove traces of themselves when they're done. As for auto-delete? That'd be admin call. If the server can support idle accounts, fine. Or, a feature could be added as a paid sponsor. If you've bought GB (or an applicable Status feature), you're considered a sponsor and free from an idle delete after X period.

No offense but I think that the button should only be allowed for the players themselves to choose if they want to delete there account at any time if they decide to leave. If they are inactive and no longer on lioden then I think the admins should be allowed to use the button but only after a few months. A week seems unfair because people do have other important things to do other than playing an only game (not hating I love lioden). In some cases I haven't been able to get on a game for a week or two because of school and babysitting taking up all my time not to mention chores, and homework. So I think at all times there should be a button for the user themselves to decide if thy want to delete there account not someone else, and after a few months the button is seeable to the admins?

I don't think they should be deleted without their permission at all. That would be unfair to those who go on hiatus or can't get on the internet for long periods of time. Some people have gone for several years before coming back and not to mention those who have purchased GB. I don't see that happening though it's up to the admins.

I love the idea of the stud disappearing from search ^^. I have issues with that...A lot. It's so frustrating when you get a stud that doesn't have an active owner.

Support! Also; What if, when someone deletes their account, their lions are released into the wild to be claimed as NCLs, and their items sent to the giving tree? Or, even, there could be a new area for the lions of deleted members, where people can pick them up. That way if someone had some really nice lions and then deleted their account, they wouldn't just disappear forever, and someone else could get a chance at them.

Perhaps, but I know some people if they know they are going to delete or no longer play do a den clearout. I think it would be fine without releasing everything. It's just up to the person I think if they want to give them and sell them to others or have them deleted out with everything else. Same with decors, etc.

I think Xylax said that accounts couldn't be deleted due to the accounts being done in a number sequence.

Well, he hasn't deleted this yet. There's some other ideas in here too. I'll leave it to him and the mods. Perhaps something could be worked out? (I don't know anything tech wise so.... That's why I leave it up to them) I'll just throw my ideas out until deleted because they wouldn't work or whatever or accepted. I've heard what you've said before, but nothing directly from Xylax and the others. And I didn't see it in the sticky thread of rejected ideas.

Support. I constantly have to sort through pages of studs to weed out the ones who haven't logged in for an age. I have cubbins to breed! No time for this nonsense! lol :P

Why do newby's have to wait 6 months untill they can remove there accound? Just lets this be from day 1.

Most of the time on games:
I make accound, play for 1/2 weeks (untill i know the basics), remove the accound and start again.
