INTRODUCING CLANS

Clans

We were always aware that Clans and Families are something big in our community, but it felt very wrong to introduce something very complex, affecting the gameplay, and neglect people who aren't interested in belonging to a Family.

So, today, we are introducing an in-game system that will help a lot of you, Families & Clans, to organize your members, while not hurting people without such allegiance.
This is a very luxurious system, so we're introducing a fee, you guys still can enjoy your families and clans like you used to, if you don't wish to use our ingame system.

The clans are NOT affecting breeding or gameplay. They can be accessed in Explore page.

Clan page: On a Clan page, you will be able to view pending clans, active clans, your memberships, expiring clans and, of course, Create a Clan option. Let's talk about each part! Creating the Clan Anyone can create the clan, but to not have 1000000 clans, we have set a minimum member quota of 10 for pending clan to start up. - Firstly, you enter the name and the summary, and are asked 2 GB to pay up front. - You will be taken to pending page of your clan, where you can edit more details. - When you create the clan, on pending page your members will be able to send their requests to fill the quota. - The 10 member quota needs to be filled in a week time, otherwise the pending clan will expire and disband. - Names ARE NOT unique, meaning there can be 10 clans named "Albino clan", we did that to prevent trolls from stealing names. - You can link your Clans & Families original thread to display in your Clan page! - A Clan banner 150x80 can be linked just like an avatar, it will display on member's Den profile. - You can stop accepting member requests by disabling/enabling the requests here. Pending clans cannot disable member requests. Admins - Owner is the only person that can pay the fees and set who the admins are. - Owner can pick and set admins that can also use the clan system. They will be able to edit the first post of the clan thread, use the mass messaging system, accept/reject membership requests and boot out members. - Owner can designate one of the admins to be a new Owner, meaning this person will be able to edit the clan's thread. Old owner will become a normal member. Managing your Clan - Same as in the Pending page, you can edit all clan details, including name change, banner change, etc. - You can accept or reject member requests on your clan page. - You can send mass PM's to your clan members or admins only. - You can pay your monthly subscription here, this feature is stackable. Monthly subscription costs 1000 SB. - You can Close your Clan on the bottom part of the page, you will be prompted a pop up window to confirm. Upon confirming, your clan will disband and members will be notified. - You can expand your maximum members by 10 for 1000 SB up to 100 members. ACCEPTING REQUESTS - You have to click the member count/list, it's a link to member list page where you can accept or reject requests. Pending Clans - Pending clans have a week to fill the startup member quota (10) before they expire. If they fail to fill the quota, the clan will just dissappear, and fee will be refunded. Active Clans - Active clans look just like pending clans. The owner/admins can now disable membership requests and use the mass messaging feature however! Membership - You are allowed to belong to many clans at once. - You can send membership requests to clans. - You can receive mass PM's sent by clan admins. - Member trait: Once a day, you are bestowed 20 uses of a Mood Boost for any lion in your clan. By visiting a lion's page of a member that belongs to your clan, you can boost its mood by 3%. You can choose to spend 20 uses of that trait on one lion or 20 lions, whatever you wish. Support each other! Yay! - Clan memberships appear below allies list on Den page. Banners and names will be listed there. Expiring Clans - If a clan subscription wasn't paid by the owner, their clan will appear here. There's a week to pay the fee, if it won't be paid, the clan will disband.

Other awesome stuff: We're introducing this week a few fun lion looks things: Ashen base - Light, Solid, Special, Black - meaning, it's a special just like Ebony, can be bred, but it is not custom. Crystal eyes - special, custom eyes, just like Emerald - available in Eye Changer or Oasis! Fiery Mane Base - a new raffle only base just like Cocoa mane!

Raffle Lioness

Congrats Kesatria (#41472)! you have won the last raffle lady along with Coast Oasis raffle background!
Newest lady has new marking, Feline 7, new base, Ashen + Fiery Mane as well as the Hottentots Mountains background and is up for impressing in Special Lioness area in Explore or in NEWS section under News Post List!

Important note:
- Kitty will be on a bug fixing spree through the weekend! :D
- Cub Stages missing decors + pending lethal/dwarfism mutation markings will be all caught up this month! For example, Conjoined are already fully operational ;D
- New secret and super rare mutation will be implemented within next few days, get your GMO's ready babbies. When it appears on Lioden for first time, all the info will appear in searches etc so you will notice what it is only then!

Member behaviour:
We'd like to remind that Sharpen your Claws board was taken down due to arguing and constant baiting that made us ban/warn A LOT of members. Since it's gone LD forums are way more peaceful, but we're noticing a trend of venting/debate threads appearing in some subforums. We need to inform you guys again, that discussions and debates ARE allowed, as long as it's kept civil. Once it gets to name calling like "you're so childish" or passive aggressive comments appear "I knew those liberals would start posting here soon sigh" or any other trolling/fights appear, we WILL lock the thread and do our reminders/warnings.

We also need to remind you that targetting players on forums, chat, profiles, anywhere is NOT allowed, no matter if they're staff or members. Stuff like "This person is a fucking joke, bidding 10 Sb on my 1700 stat lioness? What a fucking idiot" is absolutely unacceptable, even if you’re not naming them, they could be reading it and being made to feel uncomfortable. That’s not fair on them. Please act respectfully on Lioden, a warm and cozy place feels only safe and nice as long as everyone tries to keep it that way <3
