Hi I'm Demon! I use he/they pronouns mainly but anything besides she/her are ok! I also don't really use labels for my gender or sexuality, but if I did I think Genderfluid/Genderfaun and Pansexual would be the most accurate!

I'm a 20yr old adult with too much free time on their hands due to looking at the possibility of being disabled (POTS, which is kinda funny considering id call myself pan if i used labels xD), and I pour most of it into lioden at the moment.

Since I've seen a few talk about they're journeys with the lgbtq community, I want to share mine as well!

For my sexuality, I was 10 when I had my first crush on a girl after so many male crushes, and it wasn't a small crush either; my brain would turn into a fried egg from her simply greeting me or eye contact. I tried telling my mom about it but I couldn't get the right words out so she just thought I found the girl to be a good friend and it was scrambling my brain, since I was being bullied alot on top of growing up in a heavily neurodivergent family, instead of it being a crush. That year I learned what bisexual was in school and as far as we were taught it felt right since I've had crushes on both girls and boys and unfortunately we didn't go into anything beyond gay, bi, and trans, so I didn't know there was anything else out there, but I was also really scared of saying anything because we also were taught about the hate towards the lgbtq community and I thought my family would hate me too especially with the misunderstanding I had with my mom.

Me starting to find out my gender thanks my brother, when i was 12, he was having a meltdown, and he was yelling about how I'm no longer his sister but his sibling, 3-4 months of being a confused and nervous bean I came out as non-binary, with my brother being the first to fully adjust to the pronoun changes (a little too much as he went around telling EVERYONE without me saying it's ok to for a while ^^').

This was also when I finally said I was Bisexual, and was also accepted for that with some confused about being scared to say anything... when I explained what the school taught and what had happened when I was telling mom about the crush on the girl I had, it was mostly understood and my mom did apologize for the misunderstanding too.

The summer before I went into high school, I went to my first (and sadly only so far) pride parade... I couldn't find anything non-binary but I learned that non-binary fell under the trans umbrella so I got a trans flag. As me and my family were leaving I went to go help an elderly person, and they thought the trans flag was cuz I was female to male, and called me a "young man" as they thanked me... didn't correct them as that felt comfortable too, when going back to my family I talked to my mom about it and she assured me that it was ok to use multiple pronouns.

At this time I was also feeling less like Bisexual was fitting, as I noticed I didn't care as much as about gender as much as I was told Bisexual people do, so I was back to being confused about my gender and sexuality both, wonderful. It wasn't helping all that much either that I never really had another female crush, but several male crushes since I was 10, so maybe I was straight and she was a fluke or my mom was initially right about the neurodivergent brain scrambling.

Throughout high school, I learned about so many genders and sexualities that almost every other week I was changing my labels, and I was relearning some too. When I was 17 I learned that I didn't need labels and been going with that since then, yippie no more confusion or stress about what I am, I just exist in this world and do a lil funky dance.
