Accounts that have not been used for over a year should be deactivated, have their studs removed or at least make them invisible until the player returns. Too many times have a searched for studs and found that they haven't been playing for months or years. Not to mention they may be taking up usernames that a new active player would want |

If you try looking through the previous posts, or searching, this has already been suggested numerous times. ^^ ![]() |

No support. I'm sorry, but I forgot about this game when I was doing exams and ended up being on hiatus for nearly two years. If I had my account deleted I would've been majorly ticked off because I had GB on my account, and it was wonderful to remember about this game and see all the extra stuff added since I'd last been on. Imagine all the similar players who wouldn't know that the update to delete accounts had happened coming back to nothing. There would be a shitstorm and the admins/mods would get tonnes of abuse. Plus, people choose not to log on because of the rollover feature, meaning they can freeze they're lions if they know they aren't going to have time for them, this feature would become a little useless if your account gets deleted. I do, however, agree that after a month or so of inactivity that studs should be hidden from searches (I.e. There should automatically be a deactivation of the studding services, and a button you can click to restore it once you get back on). In fact, the main reason I don't play another sim like this, which is otherwise a good game, is because your account gets deleted after a few months and I built everything up, only to lose it all and have to start again. The premise is good, but again, with the whole name thing, just pick a different one, or use a variation on your spelling. Only being allowed a unique name encourages a little creativity when naming your main lion, and makes it easy to find recognisable players/studs. Deleting accounts wouldn't solve this problem, because there would be people waiting for the accounts to go and sniping popularly wanted names, and it might lead to bullying/people trying to encourage players to leave the game. There's also no guarantee that new active players won't become inactive in the future and start the whole cycle again. Tl:dr- I support removing stud services automatically for inactive players lions, but I do not support account deletion. ![]() |
